If countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Türkiye and Egypt are a part of BRICS, it can be a way to foster relations between these competing nations so that ideally, they could form a West Asian Union, based on the model of ASEAN, which would naturally lead to the inclusion of poorer/smaller but still important nations like Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. I see this as the only way that would lead to an indigenous counterbalance within West Asia and the only chance the Palestinian people have.
