No, they shouldn’t tell the people if it gives away critical information. When a suspect is being questioned, do detectives tell them everything they know? Of course not. Trump: “The government should tell the people” five seconds later: Reporter: “have you been, briefed?” Trump: “I’m not commenting on that.” So the government should tell the people, but you don’t have to comment to the people. Who are you protecting? Got it. Hypocrisy right in front of your eyes.
