Bonechewer Brawler over Anonymous Informant on pick 3 seems insane to me, the brawler upside is pretty small whereas the Informant upside can be so insane. You've also now improved the quality of your card pool because all secrets are now slightly better and you have 81 cards still left to see

23:38 this statement is incorrect statistically speaking. In the most extreme case, lets say probability you played invocation given you lose the game is 100%. It doesn't mean that the probability you lose the game increases when you play invocation. Maybe the probability of losing the game is really small so the fact 100% of the losses involved playing invocation has a very small impact on the total population. Also, even if they are correlated, correlation doesn't mean causation. You have to look at it from different perspectives. How would it make sense that playing a 0 mana card that has a positive effect could decrease your winrate compared to not playing it?

Because you always open your boxes as a Hail Mary. So in almost 100% of the games you think you'll lose you will have played the card compared to maybe 40% of the games you are winning.
