I needed every bit of this word. I’m in one of the worst financial situations I’ve ever been in. I’m a single mom so I’m only living off of one income. I’m looking for a new job to help with my increasing expenses but the disappointment of being rejected almost daily is heartbreaking and has been making me doubt and lose faith. Hearing how God has been coming through for others makes me excited, but not seeing him come through for me yet is discouraging. It’s been 7 months since I left my youth pastoring position. I had so many doubts among feeling betrayed and hurt by God. Especially since I wasn’t hearing from Him in this more challenging season (challenging mentally, financially, etc.). I was able to doubt in community with some good Christian friends of mine and my wife. As months went on I’ve been doing better, my faith in God throughout this season has grown, my character has grown. These sermons are a HUGE part of that growth. I have been searching and reaching for God for 30 years, but never once has his presence done anything but make me feel worse and so completely unloved. I surrendered my life to him and its been a complete hell trusting Him. It breaks my heart even going to church anymore because the message is always ‘trust God and He will comfort, help, heal, etc. He has done nothing back make each chapter of my story far worse than I could have ever imagined. For decades I kept telling myself the same lies that God would eventually show up as long as I kept the faith. All of my doubts and desperately please for faith, and even the strength to endure the hell God’s will for me was were rejected. I wish I could even look back on one time where I prayed and God helped me so the worst didn’t happen. I don’t have doubts anymore, I know God doesn’t have an ounce of love or compassion for me, and that He never did. But I serve and follow Him nonetheless knowing He will never stop tormenting me in this life and I dread the thought of having to spend eternity with my creator. Where do you go when not even Jesus’s payment for my sins is enough to make up for his creating me?

I have listened to this a number of times. It's not that I can't remember the things that Albert talked about. I wanted to make sure it soaks into my spirit. Asking the Lord to show me areas in my life. Talk to the Lord about everything. Everything. What do I do when God takes too long. I am taking the Lord off the thrown and putting me on it. I’ve been going through a tough time recently with things happening 1 after another and I haven’t been able to make it out to Church for the past almost 3 months because of one thing or another but I’ve been watching the sermon here every week s though and I gotta say out of all the sermons that have been spoken and all the messages that have been told, this one spoke to me the most. I have doubt and I put myself on the thrown to much and I have trouble fully believing and trusting God, but now I know what to do, and I’m gonna continue to break the strongholds and false thoughts that overtake me but I also know what to do now when I have these doubts.
