Laughed so hard when you started talking about broken lightsabers. This happens so often it's crazy. I ended up buying stands for all of my figs and it helps with most of them when it comes to figures tumbling over. Hasbro should definetly make lightsaber/accessory packs. They'd make a killing.

It is accurate to Rebels, just not to the episode “twin suns”. Maul appears in 4 episodes of Rebels. At the end of season 2, twilight of the apprentice where he’s shirtless. Then in season 3, episodes Holocrons of Fate and Visions and Voices. He looks exactly like this in those 2 episodes, which the battlefront skin is based on.

My first figure was Captain Phasma, on a clearance shelf. I figures if a figure of a character I didn't really care about was so good, I was in. That was the start in my decent back into Star Wars collecting, which grew to figuarts, mafex, and partially due to you, a few Hot Toys.

That Maul on Maul cover photi is something I can't unsee. 😂 I recently got the Clone Wars predecessor to thos fig. It's a beauty. The only downer is his red face markings are darker than his body's.

The maul is accurate to some rebels episodes, just not his most iconic looks in the series. If you go to the episodes around the point of him joining the holocrons with Ezra, he wears this exact outfit

I just found three of these on the shelf at a local GameStop for $28 apiece. Does that seem too steep for you? I’m new to black series. I was also wondering if you had any cloth good hooded robe suggestions?

Yeah, that’s about normal for a GameStop exclusive. There’s a chance it could go on sale or clearance, but it’s tough to say for sure. Josh’s Custom Capes has some good soft goods.

You should absolutely play Battle Front 2, Maul is allot of fun to play, I got into the Black Series in many ways because of the game 😊 this Maul seems to be a huge contender for figure of the year, 🎉❤ great video!!!!

If you play BF2, get the Celebration Edition when it's on sale for 10$ or less - it has everything already unlocked. Just know that if you play this game, your BS wishlist will grow exponentially with the Rebel Rocket-jumper at the top.

Hello Mike thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new Maul Old Master figure. I haven't gotten this figure yet I'm having issues trying to redeem my GameStop points and when I called the number the guy I spoke with was useless. What's the point of having a customer help line if they can't or won't try to help ? And yes I did select online points redemption. The figure looks great and as someone pointed out in their comments Maul did wear this outfit in a couple of Rebels episodes, so I'm good. 👍 This Maul is an amazing looking figure and I'm sure he will be in your top 10 of the year, maybe top 5 ? This is going to be a very unpopular opinion, but I'm not overwhelmed by these. I'm not writing this just to argue. I usually agree with you with most reviews. But here goes: I really liked the original given that it was figure #2 overall. It doesn't hold up to today's figures. Clone Wars Maul is alright,. I passed on Old Master. I don't think it's as good as Clone Wars Maul. There's less paint with Old Master. I'm not saying he's bad, but he's just okay to me. I'm more impressed with many other figure this year. I would pick up a Spider Maul in a heartbeat. For the record,, i love your reviews. You always say to say something if you disagree so I picked this one.

I wish the end of Maul's story had been told in the live action Kenobi show instead of in rebels. It was have been awesome to see Ray Park and Ewan McGregor face off once again.
