I recently got sick unexpectedly. After this man was staring at me in a strange way. Within a few minutes I was unsteady on my feet, I was struggling to breath. I spent the next two days in bed not eating and drinking. I didn’t even have the energy to lift my head and my heart felt it was being crushed in a vice. I can be so kind to someone and be stabbed in the back so hard by people. I don't go out of my way to put evil eye on anyone. I had a women who was causing real trouble in my life. I couldn't take it anymore so I asked out loud with belief I was being heard!. for her to be cursed with disease. There were 4 women in 1apt and she was the only 1 who got staph in her eye! she lost her hair and had rashes all over her body! she admitted she was jelous of me. this is not the only time I have done this

Jealousy and Envy is a negative consciousness energy output by someone the same as love and fear. So this energy is placed upon the person that is being envied unless he seeks refuge in Allah and becomes a victim of this negative energy being directed towards him so it is not necessarily shaytaan who harms the person with this but the negative energy itself and Allah knows best.

I have this question for quite some time. Why do average people get affected by evil eye so easily, but why don't world class athletes seem to not get affected by it ? And even if they fail, we can easily trace back to their mistakes, like lack of training, lack of discipline or bad diet or stuffs like that. Why is it so ?

I have no experience in this, but I think this evil eye concept only works on someone you can relate to, or someone in your everyday life, because you could just feel hate or jealous towards the king of England or famous people but the level of jealousy doesn't come as near as (for example) an annoying little brother or in-law with a more beautiful and rich wife and already own a lot of property in his early 30s, with a boasting habit in every occasion.

many of the scholars say that "ma sha Allah" is not enough to protect from giving ayn and many of the scholars of the past and of today said that the verse in suratul kahf is not evidence of removing ayn. There is a hadith about a sahabi giving ayn to another sahabi and from this many of the scholars say the best way to protect yourself from giving ayn if you see something you like, ask for Blessings for the person. I.E. saying perhaps : Barak Allahu feeh(i) (male (him))/ feeha (her) -for female)/ feek (you- male)/ feeki (f)/ feekum/ e.t.c... or Allahumma barak laki/ lak (a) /laha/lahu/lahum/lakum e.t.c... may Allah bless it for you e.t.c. as long as there is something of baraka mentioned and this will help with not giving your br or sr evil eye. Ma sha Allah alone doesn't really help and Allah knows best.

I feel the same and that's why it's very important to constantly ask for protection and precations. I can't control other people's intentions and character, so I have to do my best to create a fort of protection around me. I am very easily affected by evil and jealousy :( I am very sensitive to it. Social media has made it very easy for us to be affected by these things as well as for US to feel jealous of others, too . That's another VERY important thing to remember: just as we should seek protection from other people's jealousy and the evil, we should also be careful about not feeling jealous of others. We should ask the creator to grant us goodness in our hearts so that we are not jealous of others and become the reason of THEIR suffering!
