Before you sign on always, always write down what you have done (or want to say you have done), and keep a copy for yourself and put it to one side before filling in your diary. The reason being is if there is any reason they suspect you havn't done enough you will get a form witch in effect asks you what you have done to look for work for the previous MONTH...so having a copy may come in useful. Just a little tip, it pulled me out the shit a few weeks ago...

This is totally shocking. Being forced to apply for jobs via a web site here your every move can be watched, and being told `you have` to or you will be sanctioned. Hang about is this not a breach of human rights? I am pleased I found all this out, I knew there was a reason I dont use Universal Job search, I do have an account, but have not used it for months. I would like to point out that, anyone who is unemployed and are given job descriptions by the person you sign on ` with may not have the employers contact details on and so you are `forced` to `log in` on the site. I point blank refuse to do it.

Making a universal job match account isnt mandatory, they try to imply it is but really its not, you can just say to them you have made an account and when they ask for access to it you can just say no and they dont take it any further.

Yes unfortunately. but this is only because they way that they have made a loop-hole by wording it differently.. but if they tell you to sign up follow the steps in this video I made, it'll help you out and keep you from been intruded onto.

it's becoming mandatory. i was told i don't have to sign up yet as it's not compulsory but i was told that if i didn't sign up for the jobs they gave me which can only be found on uj i may lose my jsa. it's difficult to fight back.

if you dont have an email address the dwp cant mandate you to create one. if you dont have an email address you cant create a ujm account. so if they ask you, you dont have an email address.

1) When I registered, my AV program crashed silently. Even windows didn't alert me. Registering went wrong too. Each time I log on, I go straight to profile section to complete it. However, When I click OK, its says my email is already registered and flips me back to setting up the profile. This means I can never get past the setting up of the profile or upload CV's. No way will I check the tickbox allowing DWP to look at your activity since it not mandatory. ...

2) Also, they say you don't need to fill out Jobsearch forms any more. But this system ties you down to one venue to find work, and show you are looking for work. What about other job agencies? How can you prove you applied for jobs through them on this system. If it was possible include them, then thats ok, but as far as I can see, its not possible.

I signed on today and they never even mentioned me going on universal jobmatch...i dont know if being on work programme means they are leaving me alone

Okay video that is address the issue of false employers advertising, a lot was marketing firms stealing information. The site would have to adhere to privacy.. some sites collect data and there maybe an element of truth into spying. Bit too intense thou.. people looking for work likely share more personal information. A lot say hack when it's not actually hack. They can't get into your PC. But they maybe able to see website someone been to.. particular useful in sales. It was one way of getting around advertising rules. Waste of money in my opinion.

Great Video ! The gospel truth about these bastards being preached here, But, As I understand it though, The JobcentrePlus still need your login number and password for Universal JobMatch, And your gmail name and password to actually access your account, But once given, You say they can snoop not only at right through those accounts, But beyond into any online activity at their leisure ? Well, All I { And I assume everybody } wants to know is, What can they do if I refuse ?
