I'm loving these TRX exercises! When I got my TRX not long ago I was a bit discouraged because I'd never used one before and didn't know a lot of ways to use it. After watching a lot of your videos I've basically got a full TRX routine now for every part of the body. Big thanks for your help!

Have a question on general workout. If we workout for around 2 hours in gym - includes cardio and weight training, a time comes when we stop sweating any more. Is that the point we should stop working? Some people say, when we stop sweating and yet continues to work, body start burning muscles for energy. How much truth is there in that statement? Muscles are hard earned and no body wants to burn it for whatever reason. Thanks in advance.
@Fitfatherproject5 жыл бұрын
Hi Niranjan, thanks for writing in and great questions. A lot of this depends on your goal as we want to exercise smarter and more efficiently and not necessarily longer. There is merit in training for duration, especially if training for long-term events. However, for general health, or weight/fat-loss, or muscle building, you'll want to use effective, smart movements with calculated rest times to reach peak health. Additionally, you can burn muscle for energy. When you are operating at a deficit, meaning the calories consumed does not sustain your body, you will lose weight. This can come from fat, but also from lean tissue as well. That is why resistance training and ensuring you are receiving enough protein is essential to maintain or increase lean tissue as lean tissue is much more valuable than fatty tissue. We detail all of this in our programs because we really believe in building as much lean tissue and cutting down as much fat as you can for a healthy, long-lasting life. -The FFP Team

Is it wrong to let your scap to protract forward during this?
@Fitfatherproject4 жыл бұрын
Hey Russell, thanks for writing in brother and great question! Ideally, we will prevent out scapula from protracting forward. When we do this, we can take some tension off the intended muscles, as well as the core. It is our goal to keep that spine tightly aligned and get just enough stretch in the lats for an effective movement overall. -The FFP Team

What exactly "opens back up" when you lower down?
@Fitfatherproject3 жыл бұрын
Hey TSA, thanks for writing in and great question. Dr. A is discussing your lats opening up as you lower down. So he is referring to your latissimus dorsi muscles which are the largest muscles of the back that span from your shoulder blades to your hips...on both sides. So as you lower yourself down, you'll feel the stretch coming from those muscles as a feeling of "opening up". -The FFP Team
@mahdialin972110 ай бұрын
I see you retracted but do you depress your shoulder ?
@Fitfatherproject10 ай бұрын
Hey Mahdi, thanks for writing in and great question! Good eye with the retraction but you don't necessarily need to depress as you are doing enough just trying to stabilize to execute the movement, period. Now if you want to give it a try, for even more of a challenge, give it a shot but start with a more upright body until you feel more comfortable. Thanks for watching! -The FFP Team

It's not a TRX Row. TRX didn't invent the move. As a matter of fact they didn't invent the suspension trainer. It's a body row or inverted row done on a suspension trainer.
