Love seeing YB is back!!! Just FYI as a Tokyo native, but Japan has other equally famous soup noodle dishes called Udon and Soba as well! Ramen is definitely popular among us but these two will also knock your socks off and are healthier because broth is not oily like Ramen! Fun fact about the U.S.: Udon is more common in restaurants here than ramen. Americans make a big deal out of ramen because we like the fatty broth and because it’s harder to find in restaurants. Edit: forgot to mention soba. I’ve never seen it on a menu in the U.S.

There are Chinese Muslims but China won’t tell you about them much because they are being kept up in the northwest mountain doing slave labor of cotton picking and being forced into re education camps and forces to pray to the government and Winnie the Pooh. Xinjiang is home to the Uyghurs, a predominantly Muslim and Turkish people. If you’d like to look into it ever that’s how the name is spelled Uyghurs.

@@youthanasia8767 right but hère in the video yb is saying that hui (another chinese ethnicity) were Muslim before (maybe some still are), nothing to do with thé situation of thé uygur. Hui Muslim are ok for most of them. Not meaning there is no uygur issue, surely is and we must stand for their rights. But there are other Muslims in china that live fine. Si i think WE should nuanced our thoughts and try to get to know more of the global situation and understand all posibility

So traditionally you don’t mix all your accoutrement into the soup. The herbs and veggies go in and your sauces go in a little dish. Then you dip a slice of beef in the sauces and put it in your mouth, then quickly follow it up with the noodle soup, thennnn chew and swallow everything together. Palate cleanse with the onions in vinegar. Viets eat differently because we build the perfect bite INSIDE our mouths instead of in the bowl or spoon.

I haven't seen a Try Guys video in a while, so why not watch Keith, Zach, and YB eat noodle soups? Out of the three soups, I like pho the best. Pho has that distinct flavor and charm that earns the title the Asian soul food. Thank the Fung Bros for coming up with that title, not me. 10:55: _"Keith used Flamethrower! It's super effective!"_ We still remember when you pulled that Charizard card, Keith.

I lived in Vietnam for two years (Hanoi), and the BEST Vietnamese soup, in my humble opinion, is bún chả; it's what I craved the most after moving back to the U.S. and one of the first things I ate again when I went back on vacation last summer. It's a northern speciality and hard to find elsewhere, but I highly recommend it! Bún bò Huế is another amazing Vietnamese beef soup. Sort of like bún chả, it's a regional speciality, as it specifically originated in the city of Huế, which is in central Vietnam.

21:51 It's nem nuong. A grilled, caseless pork sausage. My Vietnamese American wife makes this. It's delicious. The fattiness of the nem nuong makes it sweet, similar to some Italian sausages my grandma used to make. It's not supposed to taste like ham. Ham is more salt-forward.

Ramen or "Ramyun" is a huge thing in Korea because it's budget and easy to make so it's a no-frills meal but packs a huge punch, especially if the weather is extremely cold which happens alot in Korea. Not only that, the culture of Korean instant noodles is at its peak where you have Jjajangmyun in a packet, bibimramyun which is basically bibimbap but with instant noodles plus with it being that simple, it overshoots instant coffee. Also, Korean coffee culture is soo high right now that even "having coffee" at home is just not a thing anymore basically. Hong Kong also have a big instant noodle culture also but not as much as Korea. However, that being said, if you can cook proper instant noodles, you CAN be considered as a god be it a male or female to your other half cuz HK people just don't really have the time to cook anymore these days so if you can make instant noodles even with extra ingredients like a simple fried egg, you're a god.

Noodle soup is the best - so good and so comforting 🤤🤤🤤 also I side with YB! Night showers so I’m clean after a long day of work/etc and can sleep in a clean bed too. And after all the things they’ve eaten and tried, it’s amazing that they still come across new things and methods of eating (ex. the Vietnamese egg roll…I thought everyone knows to eat it like that!).

@@thatgirl9532 it's a Chinese style beef noodle. The name Lanzhou refers to the region where it's popular as far as I'm aware
@doug539
@doug539 4 ай бұрын
@@thatgirl9532 lanzo is basically just the place where this noodle originated from. Also the Japanese word Ramen actually comes from Chinese LaMian, where in China Lanzhou Noodle is often referred as LanZhou Lamian, so it is pretty much the OG of Japanese ramen.

@Annnabannanna 4 ай бұрын
@SupaSmartCellistGirl a lot of chinese foods are named after the cities. So I think it is lanzhou noodles. Similar to peking duck/beijing duck. You wouldn't just call it roast duck, it's specifically beijing duck.

@doug539
@doug539 4 ай бұрын
@@thatgirl9532 No, Ramen basically just refers to the type of noodles that is hand stretched (what La means in La Mian). There are tons of different type of ramen in China (way more than in Japan), but what differentiates them the most are the broth and topping, and I won't call them the same dish because of it.
