Unfortunately, people pronounce the best they can. The beautiful thing about US is that there are so many cultures all blending and sharing together. You can’t get too upset if someone is trying their best, but mispronounces stuff. I’m Greek and gyros and tzatziki are mispronounced all the time, but I appreciate how much people try and love them.
