For blues, it’s best to tone your hair to get as much of the yellow out of the hair. It will help get some of the greener colors closer to a true turquoise
@MoonMagickMayhem2 жыл бұрын
I do this by adding a violet/neutral purple to the blue. Not enough to change the blue to look purple, just enough to help cancel out any yellow or orange base colors left from bleaching.

This was a fun experiment. Manic panic is an old time favorite of mine. It has a color called virgin snow I think its called. Its really good for bleach hair that turned out more yellow. The virgin snow lightens it up more and gives it a frosted to lighter tone making it easier for other hair colors to take. I chose it out of curiosity and it didn't make my hair white but it did correct the yellow and make it platinum.

Just when I thought there would be no more hair being dyed on this channel for a while! Even if it is part of "historical records" I know it will be fun. In the beginning, I was one of those who said oh no, Alex. Now I am totally for the colorful changes. It has even encouraged me to take the plunge. However currently my rose gold hair has de-evolved to 50% muddy brown and 50% faded gold-ish brown so if I can save up the coin I need to get a professional's help asap. Nice to see Alex and Sam again.❤️

The clenditioners are used to upkeep colored hair! But I’ve used it to dye my hair and it lasts longer than hair dye !
@Babycat420692 жыл бұрын
This!! It makes existing long lasting hair dye colors last way longer but also works great as a tint to blonde hair.

You should try curly girl method on Sam's hair when/ if it's long enough. You could even compare the method with someone with very straight hair !
@jack.e_bee2 жыл бұрын
for anyone new to fashion colors, ALL semi-permanent dyes are literally just pigment combined with what is essentially conditioner. because of this, you can combine them with any conditioner to dilute the color and pastelize it - using white conditioner is best to give the most accurate idea of the resulting dye color
@ourdearlydeparteddoll2 жыл бұрын
Most blue hair dyes run very purple so they can cancel out the yellow in the hair strand. Without the purple your hair would come out teal. But teal hair dyes apply blue because your hairs yellow base gives it the yellow it needs to be a nice teal :)
@Babycat420692 жыл бұрын
The klenditioner is actually really good if you use it every few showers to maintain hair color. You are meant to leave it in for like 15 minutes to let the color soak in and give your hair a deep condition. I've used the light pink and purple. The purple covered everything very consistently in a pretty purple in a couple washes and the pink tinted my hair pink very pleasantly over 3 or 4

The Dad from Euphoria is actually McSteamy, Mark Sloan. McDreamy is Derrick Shepard. I love blue hair the most next to mint hair but because I have tons of pink undertone and am very ivory white despite my Italian and Metis DNA (Irish and Scottish prevail) anytime I do blue I am happy for a day then have to start the process to get it out again and it is the hardest to get out next to black unless you use copper and pinks with reds in it. Anyway, I am happy you uploaded a video even if it is from a long time ago.

When my daughter was in third grade I introduced her to the Great video about some thing that loved rusty spoons and was weird and silly and somehow made your mood, if it was down, definitely get lifted. Anyways that was quite some time ago she is now a junior in high school and honest to God she brought it up and it made me so happy. It's just something silly and fun that's a memory in both of our minds. If it wasn't for salad fingers rusty spoon and KZbin that never would have happened. Blue is so hard to get out. Weird green will stay forever What I found works best is put some red over it. That is if you are willing to have some kind of redish hair for a while. But the red counters the green and fades into blonde again. Depending on the red colour it goes out in a pastel pink or more of a light grey. I used some of the pinky red directions colours before that worked so well.

True pastel dyes will only work well on level 10 or higher, depending on the color. Especially with pastel blue, any yellow tone left in the hair of course will pull it towards green. Your hair needs to be basically white to get a true true pastel blue.

I love the breakdown of how long all of theses color last. It’s really surprising what continue to hold on to the hair and what washed clean. It is hard to get a true color with some of these dyes because they are being placed over a very yellow base. Blue and yellow make green, so some will definitely pull a more green tone than if done on less yellow hair. Pastels are especially tricky if you’re hair is not platinum blond or close to it. This is alot of fun and gives you a better idea of which of the dyes packs a pigment punch.

it can be because of the yellow in hair it can also be that a manufacture put yellow in the dye to get a certain color and that can turn it green also
