NO BLEACH HAIR COLOR REMOVER | VITAMIN C HAIR COLOR REMOVER HEAD & SHOULDERS FOR HAIR DYE REMOVAL | BAKING SODA AND SHAMPOO | Colourless Hair Colour Remover Max Strength
Last year I tested out 4 different hair dye removing techniques to try to strip out the strange blue and purple colour that my sunset hair left behind. This year i've decided to give Vitamin C another try, to try and remove the hot pink colour in my hair - making way for blue!
What is your favourite colour removal technique? Have you tried any of these befor? I found that the Vitamin C was much more gentle than the head & shoulders, so i'll absolutely use it again!

Former hairstylist here; kind impressed with how much colour came out from your roots in the end. Also, living for these videos. Not because I want to judge, I think they're a lot of fun and the fact that you're doing all this knowing, willing and wanting to go short (which I'm SO excited to see btw) makes it all the more fun to watch 😘

Packaging that looks like OTHER packaging has been a marketing thing for years! It's to get a buyer's attention because it causes them to do a double take. The Fructis bottle is actually one of my favorite designs because it looks like one of those "organic juices". I dunno if it's because I am a designer and just always loved marketing that has me always charmed by packaging like that while other do express concerns like Alex did.

Put a thick layer of conditioner on all the blonde to act a barrier & bleach only the roots with a low peroxide (10 vol) Use a proper tint brush so you have more control. Ask your friend to help you with the back. Leave the bleach on for about 20 mins, wash with purple shampoo to tone down & that should definitely do the trick. Please don’t put anymore chemicals on your existing blonde because It will break off. Use a direct dye with no peroxide (artic fox Is what you class as a direct dye) You can also add white conditioner to make your colours more pastel. Swatch on a paper towel until your happy. You can find all these supplies at a Sally’s. Good luck 🥰

I have a pixie cut and I think it's as easy or hard as you make it - I have thick, wavy hair and I wash it on Sunday night, blow dry properly and then run over it with the straighteners, it's then good for the next week until wash day again on Sunday! Some days I might just run the straighteners through it quickly on a morning but normally just brush and go! Quick hack for if you wake up up and have random bits stuck up - grab a tight beanie and wear that until it time to go out, flattens fabulously

I’ve been dying my hair crazy colors and combinations for 20+ years, and the only thing that has really worked to help strip the color is using a bleach wash: dandruff shampoo, bleach powder, and water. It can help lighten your regrowth a tiny bit without damaging it as well, and will make the hair just porous enough to easily accept more color. I find it less damaging than Vitamin C and way more effective especially for colors you may have had for a long time. You did awesome persisting to get it lightened! I love watching your hair videos and how much you enjoy the changes to your look, it’s exactly why I love doing my hair as well.

The garnier hairfood line is fantastic for damaged hair! If you use that for the next few washes, your hair will definitely get better. You can also apply it to the scalp if it feels dry after all those … „treatments“ 😂 And you could also buy a leave-in conditioner with proteins in it (e.g. Keratin) because bleached hair needs lots of protein.

I love the hairfood masks/leave ins. But the shampoo has sulfates i think. (very harsh ingredients, so i would not reccomend) and i dont know if the conditioner has silicones, (most of them are not water diluteble? Dont know the word, they wrap around the hair, and make it look Shiny, like the wax they put on apples, to make them shine. Problem with silicones, u need sulfates to remove them, after silicones nothing gets in the hair, so i would also not reccomend) I know that either the shampoo has sulfates or the conditioner has silicones one of these. But i can totally recomend shea moisture shampoos/conditioners :)

This reminds me so strongly of when I go to my sisters house for one of us to dye our hair. Alex, maybe try a purple treatment for your hair? Its meant to get rid of brassiness, so I reckon it'll take you're hair from that strong red copper tone it is now to a lot duller of a deep pink, which might be easier to cover or remove. Just a thought! Also, AKA Aislinn is a hair youtuber I think you should watch if you haven't already, she dyes her hair a lot and as such removes color a lot!

Haha I love how so many hairdressers gathered here, I'm one too 😅.Yay it worked! I've used this method for several years (although slightly differently and only on myself) and you do have to do it a few times but it works. A shame the second vitamin c tablets had dye in them 😅. Also be careful to make sure that hair mask you bought doesn't have silicone in it. A common one is dimethicone but they all have "cone" at the end of the name. Don't want to be a downer but that might be why your hair felt so good afterwards, it basically wraps it in plastic (silicone is pretty much plastic). I could be wrong though about this specific product, but it's pretty commonly used to make your hair feel smooth and shiny. And it can block nutrients and moisture from getting into the hair, and it builds up over time. There's so much more to it than that but that's the gist. I just love the chaos and vibes of these videos! (But I like your other videos too ofc) All of your friends and you just having a good time being goofy. Makes me laugh and feel happy!Thank you! And I hope you and your friends/family are well! 😊❤

Can confirm as a curly girl in Australia the hair food is a good budget item for conditioning your hair. Depending on which you use they can vary in how strong they are macadamia can be quite heavy if not properly rinsed out. I would suggest goji hair food it's specifically for coloured hair.

I use fashion colours alot and find the best method to remove colour is a bleach bath ( bleach, delevoper, equal parts shampoo) leave on damp hair for about 30-40 mins. It seems to leave it less damaged than hair colour remover or dish soap. Purple does oxidise with all methods to green though. Thanks for the video 😊

I’m excited for your beautiful natural hair again. It’s so thin right now-obviously you are going on an adventure and IVE LOVEDDD watching your adventure but I am excited to see your natural hair grow in thick again.

Wow, your hair looked really pretty then. I know the colors were not what you wanted but loved the middle part and no bangs. Looks really soft also.

This video has been a rollercoaster from the past couple videos too, how much time has passed?!? Omg, I love the red regrow that was poking through tbh was kinda a vibe maybe blended in with a color or just blonde and pink tips look great. Also a short bob would look amazing on you !! Especially if you decided to go back full red head :)

I just watched your hair curler video after watching this one! I think with your failed curtain bangs, you should just go for a full fringe! It’ll make everything look more even and it’ll be easy to style too!
