Edit: As of this past week, I've worked at Outback for 5 years. Something I have to say about the food is that it's always been good. Everyone in our restaurant has always eaten our food. Steakhouse Mac and Cheese, Cheese fries, any steak (ribeyes are forever my favorite), queensland pasta, bloom petals, ranch (made in-house)- all are major favorites. We're not perfect, but our food is great. Looool just for clarification: Blooming Onions are NOT cut by hand. Outback has a patent on the cutter that they use, though. Edit: Prawns are slightly different! They have more stripes on their back than shrimp. Otherwise, same thing.

I'm an Aussie too, and I went to LA last year. I stayed at Long Beach and went to Outback steakhouse and trust me I've NEVER eaten any of the food they had there. The only thing Australian about the place was the names of the dishes. Like "Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp" ...Sorry "prawns" an "Kookaburra wings". Yes they're chicken. They didn't even serve Australian Beer which probably disappointed me the most. Yet in a nearby supermarket I saw Bundaberg Ginger beer, Tim Tams, and YES Vegemite.

My hubby really loves Outback. I like it. I loved it because they used to served lamb chops (I called them lamb lollis - like a Lollipop , but lamb - whatever) Lamb was taken off the menu, boo-hiss. I'll go, but I miss the lamb.

If you want a dessert, you could have the “kids” sundae. It’s one big scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Very good!

Omg those fried mushrooms 🥰🥰🥰 I would marry those if I could! The blue cheese pecan salad is so addictive. And for sides, those mixed veggies are literally the best. Seriously. I always get them.
