I was also enthralled with trying food from these places when I went to Israel. The food was good, but I probably overhyped my own expectations. Anyway, I kinda miss seeing you wear a kippah and was disappointed to see you eating non-kosher pizza in a recent video. Obviously, you're free to make your own decisions, but you can do great things AND be an orthodox Jew who keeps kosher all the time, etc.

Back in 2020 before Covid pandemic started I got to go to Israel and I went to a Burger restaurant that has cheese on their burger and it was good. I didn’t go to the McDonald’s in Israel but I only saw it when I was at the airport.

Next time you Come, you should try Burger ranch basically the israeli answer to all of the fast food you tried (and with a few local specialties like schnitzels instead of chicken nuggets)

I am not familiar with all of the rules of keeping kosher (as a gentile, I don't need to worry about it), but is one of the difference the fact that cheese cannot be mixed with meat? (I do know that there are special ways of cleaning stuff as well).

1. Can't mix meat and dairy 2. Can't eat pork 3. Can't eat seafood such as shrimp, crab, lobster, oysters, prawns, squid 4. You have to slaughter the animals in a specific way, which makes the meat less tasty (that's what people say)

@@udishomer5852 not quite. Yes, they have to be slaughtered in a certain way, but the different taste can be attributed to the prohibition on consuming blood. The meat is therefore salted to remove it.

Yes, I also prefer other pizzas - American Pizza and Fadael are a couple near where I live that are good and both are kosher. Not all McDonald's branches are kosher, but all the meat is. And it's definitely better than the states. Morre (better) options.

Kosher are rules regarding the Jewish diet. Basically no pork or shellfish, or mixing meats with dairy .

Kosher McDonald’s are common here but we have a TON of non-kosher McDonald’s (in my local hospital they have an are with shops cafés and restaurants and there is a McDonald’s there)
