It's hard to emphasize how fun this car is. I've had the privilege of driving a bunch of different EVs and this one is probably the most fun and well rounded on the market at the moment (if you are an auto enthusiast). The sound is silly but fun. I could see it getting old sometimes, but I think I'd still have to use it at times just for fun. It's big enough to be a small family hauler but also not a generic looking Elon box. Sounds like the thermals are pretty amazing! I've definitely experienced thermal issues with Teslas during a heat wave in Texas just doing a normal road trip much less doing anything fun like this.

Similar city mileage range to my last car (mustang convertible) - seeing 240 (in eco/normal for my commute) so I'm fine with range. Really hope you do more videos with this car! Curious to see what you get for range… though highway is absolutely not as great for that… b/c it begs you to rip it 😆 Sooo much fun.

M3P owner here. Love the Tesla, but don’t wanna get another one when my lease is up next fall. Getting the same thing again just feels boring. But this thing seems seriously sorted. Had the regular Ioniq 5 for a year before the Tesla, and it was brilliant, but the N is reeaally tempting. That or the Lyriq. Totally different propositions, but the Caddy is gonna be a real oddball car here in Europe. Watch it fail spectacularly, since no one is going to “get it” over here. Love different and misunderstood cars, so it might just be the one for me.

It's not something I'd spend money on, it's really an expensive toy (the „ordinary“ Ioniq 5 works just fine for what I _need_). But I do have to appreciate the fact Hyundai let the engineers go this crazy and even let the car go into the market this crazy. It's really product of engineers having fun and _making_ fun of what they do, not something the usual corporate culture allows… And sure, the match with Kyle, who can't take anything seriously either, is great 👍

The original meaning of the word "throttling" was causing death by strangulation. The throttle in the engine actually restricts the flow of air by causing a blockage in the intake pipe. (If there were no throttle, the engine would just sit at its maximum speed) You can see the association between the two

I'm 64, when I was a bit younger I'd have probably enjoyed this car but it doesn't really suit me now. Most daily driving is under 5 miles but I do occassionally take some long 9+ hour trips. I want a car I can get in by myself not mass transit that can drive itself while I enjoy the scenery, watch a movie or take a nap. FSD isn't there yet but I think it will get there, Super cruise or blue cruize may get there but not yet. HDA 2.0 isn't close. I'm no longer interested in driving so I guess I'm not really an auto enthusiast any more.
