In the future if there's an issue would you be able to stop the stream and leave the VOD up, and continue in a second separate stream like a "part 2" so they would be in 2 separate videos? And then if you want to stitch them together later and upload as one stream you could? No pressure, it might be too complicated on your end. Love the streams ❤️

“We both went to school in California”. Saf and Tyler being so modest and not saying that the school was Stanford!!!
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
Good because people that throw around the name of their school irritate me to no end. Even you bringing it up is irritating honestly. The only reason they're big name schools is because they fake exclusivity.. the actual school sucks and isn't any different than elsewhere but because of the fake exclusivity suddenly everyone's like "Oh my god you got to go there?!" when usually all it is is the family has money to throw at them..
@lorihz3 жыл бұрын
@@Eventide215 I disagree. Sure there are legacies and families like Olivia Jade’s that tarnish the process. But I also know extremely hard working , smart and dedicated people who work their butts off to get into top tier schools. The actual school doesn’t suck and shows you don’t know much about Stanford or schools like it.
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
@@lorihz It shows how you just subscribe to the idea that because a school is more exclusive suddenly it's better. Those "hard working, smart, and dedicated people who work their butts off", do you know how much stress they put themselves under even in grade school simply because they feel they *NEED* to get into a particular "top tier" school just to make it anywhere in life? All for what? The same degree anyone else would get at any other school? The only difference is being able to say "I went to Stanford" and so on. If you get a degree in CIS and I get a degree in CIS that's the same thing regardless of what school it was.. adding the name of the school is just exclusivity. It's the same idea as branding. I can have a shirt made with the same materials and same design for up to like 80% cheaper than someone else that bought it from a name brand. These companies up the price and make it feel more exclusive. It makes gullible people, like you, feel as if you're getting something special because you paid so much for it.
@lorihz3 жыл бұрын
@@Eventide215 LOL. Not going to keep arguing but just wanted to say that people who work their butts off deserve their props. And comparing schools to clothes is illogical. The education you get at Fresno State is not the same as Berkeley or Stanford.
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
@@lorihz Always hilarious when people go "Not going to keep arguing" because it always means they know they're losing. You keep saying how the education is different, but how so? Using your examples, how is Berkeley or Stanford teaching you something you couldn't learn at Fresno State? How are any of them teaching you things you couldn't learn without even going to them? The point here is education quality is based on the person and their willingness as well as how they were taught in grade school. I can learn all the same things as someone in Stanford literally on my own for free due to the internet.. however in today's world with people like you, it means literally nothing because I don't have that label of being in Stanford nor the degree from a college. THAT was the point in the clothing label analogy you moron. It wasn't comparing schools to clothes. It was comparing the names. If you're going to argue education, at least have a basic level of reading comprehension.

1:17:50 You may have been experiencing a reaction to all the pumpkin spices you were ingesting. In small amounts, they are no big deal, but these spices were/are used medicinally for a reason. Clove and Allspice both have numbing properties. Cinnamon lowers blood sugar and blood pressure, also has numbing properties. Lastly, nutmeg is actually toxic in relatively (compared to other toxic things) small amounts at roughly 10g for an adult. While this was fun to watch, maybe parse out any future Pumpkin Spice taste tests into batches over a number of streams. LOL
@itsivana91623 жыл бұрын
This is my new favorite fun fact 😁
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
There's a reason the whole "cinnamon challenge" thing became viral.. it was literally killing people. First it was too dry to actually properly swallow so people would choke on it, hence the like clouds of cinnamon you'd see. Then on top of that if you did manage to swallow it, it'd cause blood pressure/sugar issues. As for nutmeg, it actually contains a narcotic that is toxic at 5-15g, which is like 1-3 teaspoons.. most recipes require like 1/2 a teaspoon at most and feed multiple people. So I doubt they'd have any reaction to the nutmeg here unless they were like fully eating everything. The toxic effects from nutmeg are like hallucinations, nausea, dizziness, etc.
@therealdonnawagner3 жыл бұрын
@@Eventide215 Yeah, that cinnamon challenge was some craziness. As I originally stated, 10g of nutmeg (which is right between the 5 and 15 you mentioned) is what is toxic for most adults. Toxic as in it can actually kill a person. However, many people, especially if they are not used to eating nutmeg or mace (the outer covering of the spice), can show early signs of sensitivity to it which can include hallucinations but also can include symptoms like agitation (something she specifically reported in the video). One can have a sensitive reaction to having too much fresh nutmeg shaved into a cup of cocoa (nowhere near 2 tsp), something I've personally seen happen. So, it's not entirely unreasonable to think the amount they might have had after trying 30-some products (in addition to other spices used medicinally that they were ingesting) could elicit a reaction. At any rate, the point of my original comment was to raise awareness both to Saf-Ty and anyone else who might try this in the future. It's up to them to do more research and decide what they do with the info after determining their own tolerances. 😊
@mikakestudios58913 жыл бұрын

It's always funny to me when people say they don't do coffee but then like frappuccinos which are made with shots of espresso (concentrated coffee). The thing about coffee, and also tea, is it's all in how you make it and what flavors you infuse into it. So whenever someone says they don't like coffee/tea I always have to mention they just haven't had the right one. Also, about hot chocolate, even with store bought hot chocolate mixes I just add hot milk instead of water. You just put a mug of milk in the microwave for a minute or two then mix in the packet. Makes it nice and creamy without that watered down aspect when using water.
@brendabignall99263 жыл бұрын
@@Eventide215 🙋🏻♀️ Actually I get the Starbucks Creme (or Cream?) Frappaccino's that have no coffee in them. They have a variety of flavors with no coffee. Hot Chocolate is richer with milk. When we went camping we added powdered milk and coffee creamer to our store bought HC powder and hot water base to make it richer but not require refrigerated milk while off grid. 😁🖖

@@Eventide215 the frappucinos aren’t actually made with espresso shots it’s almost like an instant coffee they mix with water. Some people just don’t like the bitter taste of coffee even with trying several different types of coffee. I’d always recommend them to try chai since it doesn’t have that bitter taste most coffees have. Not all coffees but some do have the bitterness people can’t really get into.
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
@@valeriesotomayor5799 It's actually made with espresso unless it's a cream frap. You can go ahead and look it up.. espresso, if you didn't know, is just a different way of making coffee. Also, chai is tea.. unless you're getting some weird concoction made? Chai is a blend of spices added to black tea typically. That's why it doesn't have the bitterness and is actually spicy (not hot spicy). Also, all coffee has bitterness to it. That's literally part of the coffee bean. It's just how you roast it can dilute that bitterness to a level some don't taste it as much and can actually accept it.

Definitely not limited to mexican families. Water to make hot chocolate really depends on what kind of hot chocolate package it is. Some already have powdered milk in it to make it creamier once done. Some don't have that though and you end up with just like chocolate flavored water which is just odd to me.. Basically whenever possible I use hot milk instead of water for a creamier and richer hot chocolate.

If Crusty has night terrors or just wakes up and is startled, Melatonin believe it or not helps a lot with that and if he is hurting himself upon waking, a sleeping pod is also good.
@Eventide2153 жыл бұрын
Melatonin can be good or bad for night terrors.. it helps you sleep and be more relaxed while sleeping, but can also cause you to have a deeper sleep.. meaning if you have a night terror you're sometimes less likely to wake up or to feel it more vividly. I'd say it'd be better if they get some of those plugins that release pheremones and such to help relax him. There's plenty of ways to help reduce anxiety in cats, which anxiety is what causes night terrors in the first place.

I had Pumpkin Spice only once at Starbucks and this was during my time in the UK. Probably my German folks are (again) afraid towards new things 😅

You can get psl at German Starbucks. It tastes like pure sugar and I wouldnt recommend it honestly but you defenetly can buy it for several years now.

I am from Australia and I have only heard of pumpkin spice flavoured things when I watch American shows or videos when they are in Fall and I am still not sure what fall even is when Australia just has Summer then Colder summer 😂

Glad you all got the audio timing fixed, but the levels are very low. Because of this, the ads are EXTREMELY loud! In the future, it would amazing if you could up the volume in the stream. Love your videos guys!

I have a very accurate idea of what pumpkin tastes like by itself because I used to eat Libby's pumpkin only (not pumpkin spice filling or anything) by the can. It's rather mild tasting by itself which explains why it's so common / popular to add toppings, sugar, and / or spices to it

I discovered pumpkin spice bagels (dif. brand) at the store this past holiday season, by pure chance. I do like PS flavoring so I gave them a try....and went back for more! Wish they were an all year thing but I'm hoping at least to see them again this fall. Will have to keep an eye out for the PS cream cheese.
