Trying False Eyelashes

I think both are very pretty. The wispies definitely open your eye, but the strip is full and makes your eye very stunning....maybe nice for evening/dressup...just a thought.....I've never worn either kind. Love your soft, gentle voice and subtle humour!

I think you’re supposed to apply the glue to the eyelashes. I’ve been wanting to try false lashes but I’m too afraid. I’d like to find something that looks natural, but so far, all I see are those HUGE ones that look like caterpillars are crawling across your face.

I worked with someone who wore big spider-like lashes to work for a few days. It was hard to listen to her because I was so distracted by her lashes! Maybe if you look for wispies or demi-wispies, they will not look overwhelming. Remember that if they are too long and look unnatural because they hit your eyebrows that you can trim them down to be shorter. Check out Amazon. They have a lot of options; hopefully you'll find something you want to try. Good luck if you try some!

Cheri….come on….really? There are thousands of KZbin videos on how to apply lashes as well as the instructions. Are you being serious or joking?. This can’t be real…you must be joking…lol…seriously. They actually look very pretty on you..but check out some instructional videos. There is always a learning curve in Everything. However, doing everything contrary to the eyelash and glue instructions, as well as thousands of YT videos on how to apply and doing the exact opposite is weird.

Harlow, I thought part way through recording that I probably should have looked at some YT videos before I tried this. You would think that someone who makes YT videos would think to look at YT videos to learn how to do something! 🤦‍♀️ There actually weren't any instructions with the glue and my package of lashes was old and I didn't have any paper or cardboard with it, so no instructions. When I glue on my artificial nails, I put some glue on my fingernails and a bit of glue on the nail, so I thought I would use the same method with the eyelashes. I'll go and watch some videos to see what else I did that is the opposite of what I should have done. Thanks for the suggestion!
