Arnold’s was a great choice for a classic Nashville meat&three! The idea was invented in Nashville way back to feed downtown businessmen who had moved to new suburbs and couldn’t go home for lunch. It’s a vanishing food genre, so glad you got the real deal now!

arnolds is my fav meat and 3 and one my favorite memories of my dad. he'd take me to work with him at his recording studio and we'd eat there almost every time. they pretty much doubled the size of their building a few years before the pandemic which is good cause it really helped with the long lines but all the the walls in the dining room used to be covered with autographed pics of celebs who ate there over the years so it has a little less charm but the food tastes the same which is what matters. I'm glad you got to try it and next time, grab a couple butter pats they have by the cash register for those mashed potatoes and ESPECIALLY the cornbread.

That's real cornbread, not cake, and all greens aren't collared greens. I can tell, just by sight, those greens were mixed with turnip or mustard greens. Lastly, mac n cheese in the South, is not gourmet. Whether baked or made on the stove top, don't expect them to all be the same or made with bread crumbs, expensive cheeses or rous. Southern food is humble.

@Reyd_013 ай бұрын
Wow, you have it completely backwards. I've been in school foodservice since 2011. Yes, it's good that schools cannot deep fry anymore, but the over-correction that has been implemented is horrible. Lower calorie, sodium and fat regulations for student meals have led to even more processing of food to meet ridiculous standards. Natural foods barely meet USDA standards, so they're lab processed further. The avg sodium content in school meals for a starving child in public school is about to be less than a chronic, end stage heart patient. The cardboard & frozen meat pastes the US serves is not better than nostalgia of 30+ years, it tastes way worse and is processed more. Many teens would rather starve or throw it away. Maybe lawyers shouldn't play dietician for fun and maybe government bodies shouldn't let a lawyer make rules depending on who she's married to. Maybe we should consult food professionals for compromise?
