TRYING NEW FOOD IS SO FUUUUUN!
There are so many things I haven't tried, so I thought I would make a vid of eating some!
I have lots more I would like to eat so let me know if you would like another vid!
What is something you haven't tried but want to? Or something you have recently only just realised you like?
FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM: www.instagram....
P.S...
it killed me typing "Tesco" in the title, because we always call it "Tescos" lol

That's really interesting - Elzani's videos have inspired me to do more sitting down and eating off a plate! - I am much more comfortable standing and picking at things rather than facing a plateful sitting down, especially with others. I guess the goal is to be able to do a bit of both comfortably and without anxiety whenever either situation/opportunity arises.

I've been watching you quite a bit. I myself had anorexia as a teen, but after meeting wonderful friends who encouraged me to love myself I went from unable to climb a rock due to lack of energy to competing in nationals for cheerleading 5 years later. Take care, im excited for your future. Your a smart woman who has much to explore and learn and a long life of new experiences ahead of her. You may have setbacks, but as any athlete your setbacks are not a determiner of your ability. Godspeed. I'm watching and praying for you and myself. Anorexia or lack of nutrition for fear of being not perfect or unlovable is just the disorder talking. The voice will get smaller over time

So glad to see you swapped to a bigger spoon for the Shreddies!...Maybe next time you could challenge yourself to more cereal as it wasn't much...speaking as someone who has been where you are, and also experienced that moment when you realise the feeling of hunger and feels as though you are starving but your not sure, or that you aren't allowed to feel it... well it is easy to be scared of it. Second guess it. And as a result, eat a smaller amount. I'm not being mean, you are doing brilliantly, it is just something to watch out for :)

Babe! You truly are doing amazing. Such an inspiration! Try to tackle habits Such as organizing your snacks on a plate. I know eating out of the bag can be scary, but these little details will only help. Asking permission to eat (your fam will always say yes anyway) or prolong eating your meals by talking about the food. As your mom would say ”go for it”. And most importantly you must give yourself credit where it's due. It's a major part of recovery. You're gonna make it Elazni. ❤️🙏🏻🌷

Elzani - I do not know how I came to watch your vlogs - but never mind, I do now. Amazing progress & support from your mum, dad, gran & sisters is fantastic, thru their day to day being 'normal' around you, brings out the very best in yourself. You should invest in a sandwich toaster - I kind of see it as you getting a 'motorbike' - you can sample & try anything you want! Beans & cheese, cheese & apple, cheese & jam, marshmallow & Nutella, bacon & tomato - the filling, really is up to you, the snack missions you could partake in are endless! (Can I suggest sausage & Marmite!!??) Also - buy your Tiger bread from the bakers in Tesco, it is better for you & they will slice a loaf for you. I am watching you & mum eat a cheesecake & I am jealous. My favourite cheesecake is black cherry. I heard you say you can make cheesecake, why not make a black cherry one & make me & my family jealous? Lol. You are doing so well, I can tell your hair has thickened immensely since I caught up on your vlogs. You keep up this great work, keep talking to your folks, gran & sisters. You do not know how many people you are helping - what makes that better is, it's your choice to do that, which I am sure everyone appreciates. Thank you! Have you ever had a Mars Bar zapped in the microwave then poured over ice-cream? D I V I N E !!!!!!!!! Take care, Love to you & your family.

i have some questions, do you go to a therapist/psychologist each week? Do you count your minimum calories as in the minimaud method, and how many should you eat? Do you know why you got your ED? Do you still weigh yourself? it is so triggering for me...
@ericaroozendaal629
@ericaroozendaal629 5 жыл бұрын
Liesl, you will be satisfied with 'normal' amounts once your body is recovered and healed!the reason you cant stop eating is because your body is desperate and hungry! I have anorexia as well and once i start eating fear foods, by body is telling me 'wooooow, this is what we need! Dont stop!' We have to trust that one day the extreme hunger will calm down. And that right now, eventhough it is really scary, it is a sign of your body, telling you how food deprived you are . So actually it is a healthy reaction. Your body wants to heal! Stay strong:-)))

Beans on toast must be a British thing! It sounds good and I’ll have to try it soon. We often have barbecue baked beans in the summer time in the US but they’re usually eaten at like picnics as a side dish with hamburgers or hot dogs.
@leea8706
@leea8706 5 жыл бұрын
Beans in the US are totally different to our beans in the UK apparently. I think yours are far sweeter and are made with brown sugar or something, our beans come in a tomato sauce. It’s why we eat beans on toast here (put grated cheese on top for extra deliciousness) but Americans think beans on toast seems weird. If you can find somewhere that sells British food you could get a tin of Heinz beanz that we have here.

Elzani, maybe listen to your body, and if your body says it’s hungry, then eat, if your body is thirsty, drink- if your body wants a snack, feed your body a snack my dear ⭐️❤️

Courtney Gallivan - in recovery it is extremely difficult to differentiate if we truly are hungry or thirsty or full or tired....and, most times we don’t get to stop eating when we are full...we have to eat by the clock and by a meal plan because our bodies are messed up and can not tell us when we are hungry, thirsty and full. Eating by our hunger cues is definitely the goal- but it takes a very long time, after weight restoration, to get there!

Kelly Cannon I’m sorry, you’re right. I hadn’t known that at the time, but have since learned a tiny bit more on how an extreme anorexic has to slowly increase and can’t eat large amount. I hope I did not offend anyone; I just wanted to try to offer a suggestion at the time ✌🏼❤️🌈

Don’t take this the wrong way, it’s amazing that you are trying all this new stuff but 1) why do you describe the foods over and over again 2) why do you keep repeating how amazing something is 3) why do you eat so slowly 4) why so much focus on food in general? As a recovered/recovering anorexic i get the focus on the food, i’ve been there, but... i think it would be beneficial to normalize eating and not make it such a big deal! Lots of love

Maybe in order to normalise eating, she needs to learn to love food again. It seems to be helping her as she looks much healthier and has a lovely glow in her eyes when she's eating and talking about food. I think it's working for her ❤️
