I've tried out a friend's hover board once. He told me not to think about leaning, but to just think about what direction you want to go in. (Forward, back, left, right) and your body will automatically lean that way. Makes riding them so much less scary.

Just thought I would give you a heads up for you & Christian... at Disneyland ask every store, food places, rides, and every employee for the free buttons. They don't let everyone know this freebee fun thing to do and you have to ask or find them as it isn't advertized. Some stores hide their buttons within the stacks of clothing too. Just ask the store employee if they have the free buttons. Even the resturants have them. I have about 20 now. Collect them. Have fun ... Hugs!

I did a Segway tour one time and I had a hard time with those motorize scooter, I can never image getting one the skateboard version. Also Segways, if that what you call the motorize skateboard, was banned from my university because they have been know to explode randomly.
