this was the first time I cleaned out my closet and really just let go of things that don't fit. it can really be such an emotional mind game!!! but my 27 year old body is not going to fit into the same things as my early 20s body and that just frees up space for things for this era of my life & style 💖

Do you know, I had clothes that I had before kids!! They were 20!! So I pulled everything out! Was vicious, tried it all on, if it didn't fit, didn't go with stuff, I just didn't like it any more, couldn't think of one place I would wear it....I had 4 huge boxed of clothes and 2 boxes of shoes and bags... donated it all.... I felt so good, I could actually go to my wardrobe, see everything and actually want to wear everything.... I think I'm almost ready to do it again, I've done little declutters, but there's nothing like taking Every last thing out, tying it all on to make an out fit, when that outfit is something you would wear, you hang it up.... and work through until the stuff you're looking at is all stuff you hate.... bag it up and donate it, there's people who love vintage, or the colour that doesn't suit you, will look great on someone else...let them have it....don't forget Coats and fashion jewlery too, a clear out is someone else's treasured find.
