I was wondering if you could please do some kind of "alternative" prom dress try on video. Like, gothic kinda fashion, I know it may not be your thing personally but I think it'd be helpful to a lot of people. Lots of black, lace, velvet, etc. It'd be great ^_^ Brands like Killstar etc. Or maybe pin-up/vintage style dresses that are colourful and big. Idk, just some ideas! Love your videos a lot.

Especially in uni, there's a ball for each club/society or residential college just about every week, so a lot of people go to 1 or 2 a year, which can be at any time and season. In uni people are definitely really keen on keeping the price as low as possible, with that many events. You can of course reuse the dresses a few times, but having maybe just the same 2 on rotation is not enough for what most girls want.

Don't know about Sweden but some European countries still have like a graduation ceremony where you can wear dresses like this! In Germany we have graduation ball and while we usually wear cocktail dresses rather than gowns many girls wear the fancy ones as well!

hey mia, i know you do a lot of these cheap clothing company videos, and they are pretty fun to watch, but i really would like to suggest trying some sustainable brands. these prices are only cheap at the expense of the planet and the workers in poor countries that produced the items :( and especially if they’re just going to the trash after the video. the production of these clothing is really a very cruel and terrible paying process, and the price and quality represents that. sorry this is so long!! but please consider all this when you are thinking of buying things from such cheap websites. thanks for reading!!

I get where you’re coming from and what you’re saying, and yeah it sucks that people are in those circumstances but that’s not gonna change. Some people can’t afford anything but things from programs like toner and wish. Also, not every product is made in bad situations, just because it is cheap does not mean it was made at the expense of people’s health and safety. That was jumping to conclusions by saying that, I’m not ignoring or saying those places don’t exist but not all of them are like that. The other things is that Mia is not supporting these work conditions by making these videos, she is only purchasing an already made product and informing us about the quality. This is not shade so please don’t come from me and I agree the things that go on behind the scenes of some of these products are horrible, but I’m just stating the other side of the argument. Thanks for reading this and for helping raise awareness about this.

I think its also about the currency difference. Like yeah the workers don't get paid as much if you convert it to USD or something similar but its not so bad for where they live in. They are able to provide for their family. And also the material used is cheaper there.

The conditions are bad and and no most of the time workers do not get paid enough to pay for their families even with the difference in currency.
