Sometimes big parking lots on a hill are very useful. Nice big ovals going both directions are great for starting, then gradually get closer to a circle. Really helps with balance and slowing techniques. Then if you get a chance to skate on flat ground it will be a breeze 😊

I’m an artistic skater, but I don’t skate outside because I’m afraid of hurting myself. That first trick is actually called a spiral, in official fancy figure skating terms. The coolest thing I can do is called a cannon ball, I don’t really know how to describe it but I think ice skaters call it a hydro blade or something like that. It looks really hard but for me it’s easier than a shoot the duck lol

I have a question! I got my Impala skates today and I am just beginning to skate but I feel as if though the toe stops are too big?? Might be my feet placement but I find myself kinda tripping over them? Is it possible they are too big for me personally or am I just tripping?

You could try to get smaller toe stops, if their too big you would be tripping but also try not to lean as forward, if that doesn’t work I’d get smaller toe stops
