Why is this thing so expensive? I have multiple balance boards that I love. I am a dance educator and I utilize balance boards in my classes. However, as intriguing and cool as this board seems, the price is just too high, unfortunately.

As a dance educator you probably noticed the difference between this device and a basic wobble board, which does not invoke nearly as much ankle motion, and almost no foot motion in the way that this one does. But you can walk barefoot in the sand to get much the same benefit for free.

Scott ~ I use a 24"x18" inexpensive & thin (1/2" pile or less) rubber backed rug from walmart for under $10 for my hard plastic balance board. I have bamboo floors and the thin rug has kept my floor from damage 100%. I definitely will be buying one of these movemates for the foot articulation that my regular balance board does not have.

Hi I’m looking to get one, I wonder if you could do a video or explore how you’ve played with it outside the context of it being a “standing desk “. I’m curious about using it with kettlebells, maybe rope flow or any movement snacks. Seeing its applicability beyond - that seems interesting to me . Thanks !

I'd love to, but I haven't spent much time doing that yet and now mine is in Canada and I'm in Morocco - so it may take a while! I'm sure there's a lot you can do with it - you can get really interesting calf and hamstring stretches with it and lots of twisting options too.

That lady is super fit . I understand why this cost as much - one can see the quality in it and because its a new design the first roll out will be expensive to offset the research and development that would have gone into it .

HI there, is the material wood (may have skipped parts of the video, apologies) One observation and question: a) you did not move the distance between your feet. That might be unconfortable in the long run (?) and would you try and test it for several weeks in a row at your desk and report back outcome please?
@PetraFisherMovementАй бұрын
Yes, it's wood. And you can def change your foot position, that's just an accident of the editing. I unfortunately couldn't bring my board with me for the winter so I can't report back scientifically on it but I did use it for the fall and I really love how it makes it easier to move all day.

And if someone will tell you that you can not use it for fun on it's own then what? You will never use it in this way?? Or you will hide yourself in the basement just to play with it as you want? Because what? Police will come? ... Do you really think that you need the desk to use it? and without the desk it will not working out???! 🤨

@@PetraFisherMovement fair enough, also difficult to do your normal exercise routine while standing at your desk too...lol...the rebounder is for when you wake up, when you have a break from your desk, when you have pain, and means you can do a 30 min routine that's equivalent to a 90 min exercise routine on anything else, also works your insides, your cells, you can't do that with anything else, tightens all your skin, check out Dr David Hall, no wrinkles and he's 68, check out I jump instead, no wrinkles, and all of them have muscles from rebounding only, you can't get that from standing at your desk, best exercise in the world, the astronauts use it for a reason.
