How'd you get the commission for the book? I've been interested in getting into the book world!!

I used Thumbtack. Its an app and website where customers can go to look for what they call "pros" for the work they need done. sadly you have to pay for bids but you only pay if the customer responds to your message. You can have auto bids or I use alerts for any illustrating or mural work so i can pick where my money goes and how much it will cost.

Out of curiosity, have you ever thought about hiring an agent so they can get you clients?

No I haven’t, I did not know those existed. But also I don’t think I would want to because they would cost money that I can’t really afford to pay them.
