And their luggage would be delivered to their doorstep. Had this happening when I had a connecting flight to the US. And my luggage (skies actually) didn't make it along. So next day the skies were delivered to my appartment and I didn't have to carry them myself.

@@JossAndJanik Ein Mietwagen wäre meiner Meinung nach das Blödeste, was man da machen könnte. KLM würde eher eine Einsenbahnfahrkarte ersetzen. Dann müsste man auch nicht selber am Steuer sitzen. Die teuerste Fahrkarte wäre 127 Euro pro Person, die billigste um die 80 Euro.

10:30 How could they be stranded there when there was no plane to Hamburg? They would be on the first plane to Hamburg as you. So they were sitting in a bin at Amsterdam until the first opportunity to load them on a plane.

If I had to check into a hotel I would hand-wash my clothes. And clean my face with soap.I was once delayed by 9 hours in Germany because the plane got sick and the next one available was coming in from a far destination. So they sent us to a nearby hotel lobby in order to get some food during the wait. Since I had some medication in my suitcase I demanded to get it back from the bin. And I got it. So you could have asked for the suitcases and taken the train. AFAIR the train ride is about 4 hours to Hamburg. So you would have been there earlier.

Wheres the Problem to get a German Citizenship additional to the Mexican for Joss? There should not be a problem because shes married with a german Man, after the Marriage Joss can stay for 3 Years. Probally theres a Time that the Citizenship is refused - 2 Years or so? But Joss is 5 Years in Germany also. Joss studied here. You should proof that... should be no problem after this long time of Residence...

Looks like you guys got sucked into ANOTHER Mercury Retrograde, (in Sagittarius) vortex! 😅 It's a rookie mistake and a cardinal rule to NOT travel during a Mercury Retrograde.
