Zac and Jacob were Ally's ride to the airport, making the stiff competition not all that stiff actually, it was just a time to hang out, lol.

Zac just goes (runs out of the studio), Jacob goes home, and Ally calls an Uber to the airport, winning the episode. But in an actual fact they weren’t in competition, Jacob and Zac and Ally were just hanging out, helping Ally with their bit. They didn’t run off into 3 different directions, they were together the whole time. And that’s beautiful.

Whomever managed to call "shotgun" first was given the role; if you did not call "shotty", you did not ride "shotty". The rule was simple, but it WAS followed and enforced.
