Agree 100%. I won't purchase 2 until I can try it first. The physics on TT1 were weird at times. Bike skidding out from under you after doing a hard L/R or R/L direction change always baffled me. Rode a 929RR for 7 years. Although nowhere near the level of TT riding, I still got a very good feeling of how a sport bike acted and performed. Wasn't very familiar to the game I felt.

Well, if you keep the sense of speed from the first game, you got another customer. First part has the most immersive sense of speed in ANY racing game, period. That sound of wind, motion blur, and the proximity of the nearby houses = incredible sense of speed - an adrenaline rush.

Time to go back to Tourist Trophy PS2 you mean... slow speed handles kind of horrible but they were intuitive to ride around a circuit, and it was challenging enough if you wanted to make LAP TIMES.

Team VVV. Thank you for keeping us fans up to date with the latest TT game footage. As you are a liaison between the fans and the publisher please consider blunt feedback with regard to the physics, so dramatic changes can be made prior to release. The first Isle of Man TT shined in first person view, audio, visuals, sense of speed, but 3rd person physics and sense of speed needed buckets of work. Being critical of the current physics model, I agree it is better, but if you watch closely it is very similar to Namco MotoGP and MotoGP 2 PS2 physics. You even mention it in this early opinion video about watching the riders head and relearning the physics model. If you slow the video to 50% it is clear that the bottom of the bike pendulums under the rider creating a relative lean when the rider tips into a turn. The rider and upper part of the bike often stay nearly static. This is really evident when the rider is near the center line for reference, when you can easily see the bike translating laterally across the reference line in the opposite direction of turning input, giving the illusion of proper bike leaning. I am not a programmer, but a rider and a fan of the sport and this is simply not how a bike moves on asphalt. I would hope fan feedback should remedy the physics this issue prior to release to push this game to classic status.

The helmet cam so far is a VAST improvement vs the original game. Something they need to work on though is the camera not staying behind the bubble under braking. They’ve got the left/right movement of the helmet, now they need the up/down

I never played the first game but my jaw dropped when saw 12:30 helmet cam. Every single motorcycle game that I have played or looked into always did a TURRIBLE job of helmet or first person view. This video alone will get me to buy the game. I have ridden bikes in real life so for me I prefer a first person view but never have gotten a game that did it right. I did not even realize the first game had a solid helmet cam. All the footage, trailers I saw I never saw it.

Team VVV if it’s go pro super view at 60fps it’s really no sense of speed. Whenever I look at footage that is recorded 4K 60fps it’s like I’m riding with 30 mph 😁 using the different higher FPS only if there needs to be slow mo in the edit

7:30 difference in speed. TT1 looks to run at a silky smooth frame rate, whilst TT2 frames fluctuate, lookiing slightly choppy. I hope they sort this out before release.

What I liked in the first IOMTT game by Kylotonn: + nice detailed world + outstanding, realistic engine and wind sounds + challenging AI drivers + driving assists + phenomenal high speed feeling + pretty addictive What I didn't like: - driving physics in almost every aspect - carreer mode (hard to understand how it works) - almost "dead" crowd (simple animated,quiet , without soul and fun) - overall game performance! (FPS drops, stuttering even on high end PC) - every track and bike was unlocked on the start (except carreer mode) - no dynamic vehicles around tracks (for example no TV helicopters, drones etc) - pit lane (simple animations and no life in whole pit-lane) ......and some other less important things. If Kylotonn fix all the stuff I didn't like, then.....shut up and take my money.

I do hope they give us some sort of demo or trial of this. I tried the first version of the game and the physics were as realistic as Mario Cart in it with the bike flying off on its own for no reason, oversteering or not allowing a direction change in some corners. I want to try before I buy.

@@wolfboy20 yup the bike physics was awful. They claim it's close to real but it's not. I've ridden real motorcycles and it feels nothing like the game does with random oversteering or the way the bike refuses to switch direction on a tight s curve even at low speeds. There's a bridge with a hump that switch direction and the bike turns left but won't turn right again for one instance.

The main problem I see here is the way the bike stands itself up mid corner. You are constantly fighting the bike. It needs a setting where you can turn the ‘stand up’ off all together. Needs a tiny buffer on the full lean angle point so you don’t just over input and drop the bike, but make it so the player has to stand the bike back up. And yes on throttle makes the bike want to straighten up but not where you have to input steering 2-3-4 times every corner. I think of that is addressed people will agree with the physics a lot more.

12:30 Never played the first Isle of Man but I have to say the helmet cam is by far the BEST representation I have ever seen in a video game!!! Devs always mess it up and make it look like your head is attached to your gas tank. Realistically your head moves around just like I am seeing in the video. I may have to purchase!!

The handling _looks_ superb! The bikes appear to have weight, mass and centrifugal forces applied, in a way I've not seen in a bike game for many a year. All bikes have to have some accessibility baked into the handling, because the controls and rider leaning can't be replicated one-to-one, unlike car games. Games like Piboso's 'GP Bikes' are too hard, for the sake of being hard. It's a fight in that game, just to cruise around at 30% speed. Insane. I'd love to see a fixed on-bike cam, where the bike is centred and fixed on-screen, with the world tilting around you.

GPBikes isnt hard. Its a matter of setting the inputs and learning how to ride it. Not sure if oyu played full version of GP Bikes but its the best motorcycle game yet.

I was stunned by the track in the first one especially running it in VR through VorpX but the oversteer and random crash generator physics gave it a limited life. If those are fixed in the new version and I can get it to work in VR Theater mode again then I can see large portions of my life being lost to the mountain course.

I think the first one is PERFECT! Pretty much. The things that needed fixing was throttle control (especially wheelie),oversteering problem and how the rider just wiped out over the bumps. It does kinda look like they solved the physics by removing the bumps ans uneven parts of the track which is a shame really.. the first one had some seriously good sense of speed and rawness to the asphalt im sure the real isle of man isnt flat..

Oh there are bumps but not in the unpredictable sense, you have to commit but you'll need the right bike setup or you could potentially hit some bumps that could throw you off. I'll test this more.

Really excited....until I saw the bike tyres moving to the side whenever the rider leans over at high speed. When a rider leans right, his bike tyres don’t magically slide left physically on the tarmac!! They stay planted to the road. Not sure if that’s just the camera making it look that way from 3rd person but it’s weird. @7:28 it shows comparison against the first game. You see here that the first game actually got this part of the physics correct. Honestly number two looks ridiculous.

The handling looks so much more improved and I like how the body and bike lean separately like ride 3 and MotoGP 19 cant wait. It boggles my mind how they do 6laps of this track. At least 3 people die every year at this track alone. The first game is only 2yrs old and there is already 2 people dead from the first one. The handling of the first one made me stop playing it it drove me nutz lol. I'm going for the 2020 tt if it doesnt get canceled because of the corona virus and I cant wait. Been a fan of it for decades and the game is about 25% of the reason I'm going. Hotel, plane and passport are all set now just a waiting game for the virus now. Its hands down the most dangerous sport in the world and the start finish line has a giant cemetery behind it lol. There is a onboard video of horst saiger on youtube going around the isle of man with guy martin and it's just mind blowing. If you wanna see it and cant find it lmk I'll post it below. The only problem i had with the last game was the back wheel just spinning round without doing anything majorly wrong, if they have fixed that then i'm all in.

You did not have to do anything wrong. It was only rear tyre grip issue. Whenever rear tyre lost grip the bike just crashed. Sometimes it was enough to release a throttle on a bump or downhill section.

Took me a While to get the Pre GPU Processing and Detail Correct as in the High speed Areas you need alot of FPS and Detail at the same time. I got a good blend in the end, Overalll the Sence of speed is nothing close to actuallly being on a Bike, Reallly well done. I use the fork Cam. The game can be used with a Sterring Wheel to, to get a good Steering, rather than Controller, can be used with controller but wheel is better.

The first ones handling was shocking but i have to say i had my moneys worth just on lapping the TT on a 600 and trying to break my own times. The course was/is fantatci if they have done it better and tweaked that handling id be a happy camper. I wish they had a system of online that allowed you to find other players i never saw a single person on the PC version online and having now freinds thats are nto motocycle games i never had a moment on track with a human. Love to see a system like Assetto Corsa where you just have a garage and the tourist track open.

Bike games need a dedicated controller, pads just don't give that feeling.

They won't add the TT circuit because it's licenced to this game, which already does a perfect representation.

Team VVV The full circuit of the Nurburgring is in a few different games Im sure it’s possible for the TT circuit to appear in Ride in future. Maybe they can get the license for it.
