TTT 12.11.2024 A Conversation with Dr. Andrea Zellner: Authentic writing with critical and iterative use of AI & How we as school communities develop agreements on how we engage with AI
This is a warm invitation for you to join us for a conversation with educator Universal Design enthusiast, inclusion evangelist, and AI skeptic, Andrea Zellner on Wednesday evening, December 11th at 8E/7C/6M/5P. We'll be meeting in Kumospace.com/youthvoices
When I invited Andrea and asked her what she might want to talk about, she wrote, "Well, I have been thinking about two things: the first is in the wheelhouse of what you’ve been doing, which is authentic writing with critical and iterative use of AI. The second is less kid focused and more on how we as school communities develop agreements on how we engage with AI. I am working on a rubric to help folks developing guidance make sure all voices are being heard, including inviting kids to the conversation about AI guidance and policies that schools and districts adopt."
Andrea is fresh from a speaking engagement at the 2024 Ameican Educational Studies Association Annual Conference and is preparing for a presentation at the Michigan Virtual AI Summit.
Recently Andrea texted: At a conference and having ideas... and ...I have so many things to tell you!!
We hope you can bring your stories, ideas, concerns, and curiosity and join Dr. Zellner at this week's TTT w/ and about AI.
