08:30 That’s the exact spot I went left on and got stuck in my Day 1 MABDR video. No cell service and no one ever came by to help. My first ever solo off-road adventure. Pitched my tent and spent the night (15 hours total I think). Got up the next morning and hiked until I found another GS rider a few miles down the road with a recovery strap. Mistakes were made and lessons were learned that couldn’t be taught. Finishing the MABDR was a much needed accomplishment in this old man’s life. 👊🏽🍺

I saw the first deer he mentioned, but didn't see the buck in his second sighting. I love roads like that, always adventurous, and beautiful. Gravel roads like that do get a bit spooky at night on a bike, knowing there are bears in the area. Yeah, it really is annoying when chicken gets stuck between the teeth when riding. But it is probably good exercise for our tongues though. hahahaha.

I can understand why folks like Tub Run Road. It looks nearly adventure bike perfect less the gravel. Enough challenge to be interesting without being over the top. I never thought of bringing dental floss in my tank bag. I suppose you should be ready for anything.
