i will never stop wearing platforms and chunky shoes. i feel like a whole new world was opened up to me when i discovered the chunky shoe trend

I platonically love the platforms, but my ankles have never not bent out of shape the second I’m more than 2 inches off the floor 😔 jelly

As a teen of the late 1980's, the resurgence of bubble skirts is an unimaginable horror, a kind of PTSD flashback. Avoided it like the plague then (though couldn't avoid the sightings, alas), and will be doing so now, too, thanks for the warning 😰. Runway is one thing, the real life street versions are mostly just crimes against fashion and humanity.

To the point about belt bags, I’m really obsessed with skirt stays for adjusting the length and gathering of fabric of skirt. I would love to see some accessories that combine both of these. Utility in an aesthetic way and to hold things

Bubble skirts are so fun and whimsical. It's giving I don't take myself too seriously.

I love sneakers, suits my casual style plus I have back problems and cannot wear heels. So many different styles, Diesels are my favourite, new balance and adidas.

Bubble skirts, short ones (or even bubble shorts) remind me of the men's pants in Shakespeare plays! Fun. Grab a rubber sword?!

I'm here to second the capri motion. Capris are cool. (Although I prefer them a bit more straight cut and not so much like shorter skinny jeans or leggings.)
@mallshoggoth6 ай бұрын
ALSO agree that goth isn't really a trend right now, it's just something that always exists in the background and it's kind of outside the trend cycle, the same way punk is. Some designers will choose to reference it, and that'll be more popular certain years but it just exists independently of all that. And on a final note I still love bulky shoes, sneakers or otherwise, I just have no desire to feel the texture of the sidewalk in high definition.

So happy for the ballet flat thing happening cause that made me feel stupid for not realizing this sooner just cause they were out of style - that these shoes literally allow me to have girly dainty shoes without heels! Cause I just can't with most heels. :P

I’m hoping we will rediscover tights en masse as a generation. The technology is finally there for tights that don’t break the first hour you wear them, we can do it this time. They make your legs look great, they are warm, they can be fun colors and patterns, there is no reason not to wear them.

Ooh bubble skirt, I wore one a long one to my prom in '99... Love the video and definitely bringing back some core memories with this one. For me workwear / utility - tech clothes are here to stay though its arguable that it has never left some circles. I thought I would be in oversized tops till the day i die, but I see my wadrobe morphing to my Y2k tees which some I still kept.

I learnt from someone - buy it then wear it for a few years and take it out again. You will be different, ahead of everyone. I almost never wear something new until like a few seasons later. I am all about Prada prints.

Too long? I was hoping for longer vids! When it comes to trends I’m into slightly oversize fit. Not circus-oversize but just there, couple sizes up for coats, sweaters, waistcoats. Thanks for the vid ❤

🔥Men's shorts that are so wide they look like skirts cos there is no gap between legs. Any length! 🔥Chanel style boucle tweed jacket - on men 🔥Straight men wearing blouses instead of shirts for formal wear. Like just smart cool black pants with a silky, blouse with an interesting neckline - actually like we saw in Loewe ss 2025.

Trends I actually do like! I live and die by my platform doc marten boots, the Jadon boot, even if everyone was wearing them for a while (are they still?). I love mine so much I got a second pair that's fur lined and that was a game changer last winter. Up until last month when I got a pair of white sneakers, they were legit my only shoes. Recent trend I love, customizing your bag. Because I think that, when curated and done right, it's such a fun and personal thing. That said, I see tons of over-consumption in terms of just buying junk to put on your purse. But I've been having fun finding little keychains and such overtime that I really like.

I have had my eye out for a good bubble skirt for a couple of years now. From all the ones I’ve tried if I go with the short style if it doesn’t have the waist banded it ends up making me look bigger than I already am bc the bubble is too high. Unless you’re a small person it’s not a good look. I did find myself a midi parachute bubble skirt and I am obsessed. Goes with everything and looks fabulous with my red Gucci Adidas Sambas that I wear every dang day. 😊
the new prada mens low sneakers and the suede shoes w silver toe... love the low flat foot look

The moment you mentioned fusion sneakers, I immediately thought of the Skechers Mary janes. I used to sell shoes the mid 2000s, and that style was very popular with the service sector workers. They looked sort of dressy, but also comfortable. I never liked them, but sneaker wedges are way worse. I hope they never come back.

FINALLY i can confess!!! --- I can't really explain it and i don't think it's a current trend, but i recently ~accidentally~ got a pair of those yoga pants that have like a mermaid flair at the bottom?? I HATED them when they were popular but now I absolutely dig and I feel embarassed but they actually make such a unique silhouette where it's very fitted at the top and the flare starts at like a wierd place mid calf.. OBV styling is crucial

sneakers were never cute, i just wish my girly shoes didn't get so torn up..... thank you for affirming my decision to dig out the aviators I needed this tuba. rather chainmail than sequins, i despise sequins, sh*tty little pieces of plastic that bend and fall off when you put the dress on so they cover the changing room floor :( dad phone bag when?
