Most of the people who are still in South Africa, cannot leave even if they wanted to.
@figurecollector82
@figurecollector82 3 жыл бұрын
@Charles van Onselen, you're 100% correct. In fact, it's the most heartbreaking hurdle, knowing that as a South African who wants to immigrate to another country to work hard and add value to that country which isn't your birthplace, you still can't get in there. You face astronomic challenges when it comes to affording plane tickets to get there, Visa costs, settlement fees, having enough money to support your stay until you can find work, plus foreign employers, especially in Asia and even in countries like Canada and some European countries, discriminate against hiring South Africans instead of AMERICANS or British citizens. It's a nightmare for South Africans to leave the country, especially because so many are heavily indebted, due to having to take so much credit, sometimes just to keep up with the astronomical cost of living in South Africa these days. It's like being caught between the rock and the proverbial hard place.

Watching fox news and eating fast food seems like a presumptive overgeneralization. Good luck finding any reliable research to back it up, you won't because most studies are limited sample size surveys with varying results. The only constant among study results is that African Americans eat significantly more fast food than other groups. I'd say your arrogance in combination with your stupidity (evidenced by your assumptioms about a Fox and fast food connection despite repeated indications that the group least likely to watch Fox, African Americans, eat significantly more fast food while also voting the most homogenuously for the party shamelessy fellated by MSNBC and CNN) means you're more likely to win a darwin award and save the taxpayers money. Im glad its being talk about in overseas media because that means the yt ppl are finally noticing Africans don't want euros on the continent. The euros have taken enough from out continent already and even the French are finally leaving west Africa. Africans have finally awoken and we will never let euros rule our land again. Young Africans are not like our old generation, we're a new breed of Africans and we will take our land and resources back with no apologies. Mandela and many other African leaders mess up when they got political freedom back in the day. They should have giving all euros a one way ticket back to Europe. This younger generation won't make that mistake again. Africa should benefit Africans first before anyone else.

Americans have abandoned their moral and political obligation to defend the freedoms enumerated in the U.S. Constitution. There are many to blame, but it really began in the 1930's. The Boomers are they whom have the lion's share of the blame. It is they whom raised their children to believe in entitlements. If not why did you assume that your application was rejected because of the color of your skin? Why would SANDF do that when it has been urging white people to apply since 2015 to increase the percentage of white people who are serving? If you blame your skin color for this, is it because all other non-whites who have drivers licenses and clean records, always get these jobs?

@@sam3407 the common factors is racially-based discriminatory habits,habits which become practices,regulations,then laws. I know a little about south africa's 20th century history, enough to know that it wasnt one big happy family,with the majority of the population being politically and econonically oppressed. Now somehow the world wide trend is to make up for past oppression by twisting around the same racially (or gender) based discrimination. Which in my view is very racist still. Parlaments have gender quotas, companies have racial quotas for promotions. All in the name of diversity, for me this is all one big sexist racist game , killing meritocracy in the name of pseudo equality. It is my understanding that something like this is happening in south africa as well.

If you gave 99percent of all farms to black people (no history or culture of farming in agriculture). They end up ruining productive farms, but the ratio never changes. "Productive commercial farms" will always be 80to90 percent white owned because they spent 3 to 4 generations building their culture around farming. I think the problem isn't that you can't change people's identities through establishing a state. It is that you cannot change peoples' cultural perspectives by telling them to abandon hundreds or thousands of years of tribalism. The problem in South Africa is that most of the African population have an allegiance with their tribe (Zulu, Xhosa, etc) and not with their country. The Boer and English settlers beat the tribes, but didn't defeat them nor did they transfer European cultural values... and were and are outnumbered by them. Just as Zimbabwe came from Rhodesia, the same thing will happen in South Africa... tribal totalitarian government that imposes a Marxist dictatorship as a shield for tribalism. Tribal factions represent factions in the ANC, and ANC activists have been riling their supporters up to create this ungovernable unrest. The lesson here, as the liberal West has learned across the Developing Wold since the 1950s, is that it took the West 600 years to rise above barbarism and we've barely done it... so why do we expect others to move more quickly?

I'm a mechanical engineer in South Africa with a master degree and a specialist in thermal hydraulics. I've worked on 90% of the South Africa's coal power stations and been part of the PBMR nuclear reactor design team. I have sent out my CV to most of the companies I know and worked with. I'm not black so I can't get work.

@@ratbatnufftime2861 that's not how reality works. We can't judge & punish everyone by what their ancestors did in the past. It's merely an antiwhite machination bc the same standard is not applied to anyone else. What we need is separate nations.

He didn't even touch on half of it. But there's a huge difference between America and SA. The culture, education level and overall demographics, to name a few, are hugely different. Although I think you're in for a rough ride over the next couple of years.

Yeah it's so dangerous speaking out about South Africa and he is trying so hard to be politically correct, which is something our generation has had to learn for many reasons one of them being safety. Unfortunately being so politically correct means that he is also kinda censoring what he is saying and Can't speak as honestly. I love my country so many people I know are leaving and I have personally never wanted to leave... Until now, it's heart breaking seeing these riots and watching people's lifes work / livelihoods go up in flames. It is becoming to much. Will we ever prosper and feel safe in South Africa?
