I put this watch on the Tudor Ranger bracelet, and it's just about perfect. T-Fit clasp with on the fly adjustments and no fake rivets on a really nice tapered bracelet.

100%, I believe this is the best value modern-day watch you can pick up (especially since they're running 2200-2500 on the secondary market). I have both models and am about to pick up a Ranger bracelet since I don't foresee them ever not being a part of my collection.

Just posted regarding the Ranger bracelet. It's absolutely perfect on this watch, and elevates the overall package.

Oh you have crown stick. My Rolex Explorer has that issue. When unscrewed it doesn’t fully pop out to the first position. You have to turn it just a little clockwise and then it pops. Not sure why this happens but I’m bringing it back in to have fixed. (I also have very low amplitude).

I am watching videos to either get this or the BB41 , the only thing holding me back from getting this is the faux rivets….
@reid.bailey85027 күн бұрын
@@gianmarcote honestly you can’t see them when you’re wearing it. Not a big deal IMO. The biggest factor in that decision is the size, the BB41 is much larger, and wears much larger. I would definitely recommend trying on both of them before making the purchase.

The little extra pop out on the crown is normal, mine does it as well and it’s common to hear about in forums. Just an extra built in safety mechanism.

I think that extra crown pop is a characteristic of the Swiss movements? My Tudor BB36 and TAG Heuer Aquaracer watches with the ETA SW200 movement both have that extra crown pop? When I bought my Tudor BB58 blue with the MT5402 movement, I thought it wouldn't have that extra crown pop but, it still did. I've come to accept this as a normal function. 😊

@@GKK1963 thanks for the reassurance!
@mtbbiker640124 күн бұрын
@@GKK1963 I believe the crown pop is built into the crown design, not the movement. The watches that require a little extra rotation to pop after unscrewing are designed to disengage the stem while screwing in the crown. With more common automatic watches, the stem is always engaged with the crown and will wind the movement as you screw in the crown. With more expensive watches, the watch does not wind when screwing down the crown because the stem disengages from the crown as you push it in just before screwing it down. You can test my theory by unscrewing your crown, allow it to pop, wind the watch a little bit, then see if it continues to wind as you begin to screw down the crown.
@GKK196324 күн бұрын
@@mtbbiker6401 Yes, I believe you are correct! The crown pop is designed to disengage from the stem. Thank you for the clarification! 👍

Like you, before getting my BB54 and P39, I visited the following ADs for a new luxury diver: Rolex, Omega, and Breitling. All of their offerings are too large (Breitlings midsize super ocean is too small). Of course, if I wanted a Sub (owned before), I'd be wait-listed for about a year (give or take). But I didn't like how the new Submariner felt on wrist. It is not as elegant as the 5 digit 16610 I owned. I went to Tudor and got a BB54 and P39 instead lol. I type all this to state I feel ya. The SMP 300 is nice, but I couldn't swing it.
