Tulip Time Festival - Holland, Michigan

Welcome to Tulip Time Festival here in Holland, Michigan! The festival happens every year in the beginning of May and lasts about a week so plan accordingly! During this time, you can find tulips on every corner, it is a sight to see!
In today's video I want to take you all over Holland, Michigan and show you the top attractions and help you plan your next visit! This is a must if you ever wanted to see tulips but don't want to fly all the way to Europe to see them!

It really does, tulips everywhere! You should also check out Paella, Iowa, they are also a dutch town hosting annual tulip festival!

My new slogan should be, "Come for the unique places, Stay for the Adventures!" Yes there are a lot of cities around US that were settled by Germans, Polish, Irish so you see strong influences in these cities! Really cool place to visit over a weekend!

„Netherlands” on a budget! This is probably the best place out here in Midwest for viewing flowers! Oregon and Washington have beautiful flower festivals too which I have to check out when I move there!

I live near Chicago, but Holland, MI is about 3hour drive from me and when I heard about this place I knew I had to check it out!

Holland are two provinces in the west of the Netherlands, Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland, I live in Zuid-Holland. Greetings.

Are the tulips blooming in April before the scheduled festival and can we visit before May?

You can absolutely visit any time. But when I visited the first week of May last year (May 7-8) they were still not fully bloom! So if you visit early the bulbs might not be opened up but you will definitely see the colors! Hope this helps!

@@LukeGeeTravels No, I live in pella so I may be biased but I think it does a better job of mixing old heritage and modern fun here. Also I’ve seen a lot of vids like this about the Holland one.
