Completely different taste than chorros abd more delicious 😊

the recipe First ,syrup: A cup of water and a cup of sugar in a pot and boil with the juice of half a small lemon, then turn off the heat and leave it to cool slightly. secondly : In a pot on the stove, put a cup of water with two tablespoons of sugar and three tablespoons of butter or oil. When the water boils and the butter melts, add a cup of flour and mix well until it holds together and forms a slightly cohesive dough. Then we take it out of the stove and put it in a plate until it cools down a little. Then add two eggs with half a spoonful of vanilla and mix well by hand until the dough becomes homogeneous, then put it in a pastry bag and shape it in cold (Room temperature) oil , then put it on the fire until it is cooked and takes on a golden color, then we take it out of the oil and put it in the syrup and stir it a little, then we serve it in the dish with a little Of pistachios. We call this dessert " balah el-Sham " in Egypt

@TasnemHosny-vj6gs11 ай бұрын
@@safaelh180 Do not add both eggs at once. We add one egg first and mix, and if that is enough to hold the dough together and make it homogeneous and smooth as in the video, do not add the second egg. One large egg may be enough, or you may need a second egg, as we often do. It can also be prepared without eggs and by adding a teaspoon of baking powder instead of eggs to the flour and water mixture, but it will be more crunchy and not a little soft on the inside,But in this case, fry it in very hot oil

Can You share the ingredients
@YahtzeeeeK11 ай бұрын
@@Alihaider_0606 I looked at her lamington video, the first few seconds show most of the ingredients she used, then when she gets to the chocolate sauce coating part, it looks like powdered sugar with Cocoa powder or hot cocoa powder and then little butter and water then water again to make it liquid like. I used a lot of water by accident but they still came out looking like hers, but for the heavy cream part when she cuts the cakes in halves, I didn't have any heavy cream so I found a KZbin video to show me how to make it from cornflour, butter and regular cow's milk. Today I'm doing the inside of the cakes so I'll message again if the heavy cream part worked lol 😩😭💀 All I did was watch a thousand times just to see how she was pouring and from what cups and then I tried to measure with whatever cups and bowls I had. For the baking, I assumed she did her cake at 350° for about 30-35mins but my oven is old and almost broken down so I did 35mins lol.
