Traditionally, we do not put rice on a burrito. They're much simpler to the USA version of it. And burritos are only made of flour tortilla. Tacos and enchiladas are usually made with corn tortillas, and quesadillas could be made both from flour and corn tortilla.

Apparently some areas in Italy do have tuna on pizza, which doesn't surprise me. Access to Wikipedia: A popular italian variety is the tuna and onions pizza (pizza con tonno e cipolle), topped with tomato, mozzarella, canned tuna, red onions slices, and olive oil.

Are good avocados tough to get around London? I don’t understand how there is a lot of grinding with avocado? They are so smooth that it’s a quick 5 minutes, including letting the ingredients out. There are tricks for a too tough (green/unripe) avocado. Is it (or not) common knowledge.
@onecupof_tea22 күн бұрын
Shops sell ripe Advocados and fruit, they also sell advocados and fruit to ripen at home, which is cheaper, but can take a few weeks. I normally put them on a window sill.
@maobfh22 күн бұрын
@@onecupof_tea- if you put unripe avocados in a brown paper bag, they will ripen in 3 days or less. Typically, I buy them very green and hard so that I can ripen them in a controlled manner. I have found that buying ripe avocados in the market, they often have several rotting brown spots that taste OFF. So I buy them green each month and take them out and ripen them in a bag as I need them. If you want to wait for them to ripen, put them in the fridge and that will buy you a few weeks before you need to use them (if they are green and unripe). So I a get quite a few when I am having a party or simply when they are on sale. So I get the greenest, brick hard avocados and control when I need them. Don’t forget about them in the bag, though. They will continue to ripen quickly and the riper they get, the more gas they put off and the faster the ripening speed and they can be quite ripe in a matter of hours. I don’t know how much (if any) gas is absorbed into the paper but if they overripe in the bag, I toss it out or keep it with a mark on it to use when I want to speed up the already accelerated ripening process. Every kitchen that uses avocados should have half a dozen brown paper bags in the kitchen.

I think its quite insulting to call mashed peas for guacamole.. Guacamole is a mexican dish where the origin of the word is a union of 2 words. The original word for guacamole in Nahuatl is Ahuacamolli, the union of Ahuacatl (Avovado) and Molli (Mole or salsa). So if you use PEAS in the dish instead of Avocado, its NOT guacamole. Then call it guisantamole instead (peas and sauce together).
