I’m looking to get a WCP platinum TRD. It’s good to see one on the ground. The configurater is still wonky because I was trying to build this truck and it said i had to add the 3” lift if i wanted the TRD package. I knew that had to be wrong. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Great video! I currently have a 2022 blueprint sr5 and really want to upgrade to a 2024. What trim would you recommend that has a lot of bells and whistles without going trd pro, capstone, or 1794? Trying to stay in 60-65k price range.

Maybe its just me, but to me the black trd grille looks more premium. Seems backward to put the gray plastic grille on a premium trim.

Nope. The power bed step/side steps are optional on non TRD 1794 and Platinum, standard on Capstone

I don’t care. But I care enough to leave a comment. I have over $100k cash that I’ve been sitting on this past year to spend on a new truck. I wasn’t planning on spending all of it, but if I found the right truck, at least I’d have the choice. I won’t be buying ANY Toyota vehicle. They’ve started building trash vehicles, and charging RIDICULOUS amounts for them. They’ve lost the plot. Toyota is a joke now.

Options are kinda limited. I’d roll the dice with a Tundra before I spent that much on anything else. GMC 6.2 and 5.3 are throwing rods and lifters left and right. Ram is straight trash and ford looks like dog shit. Toyota has made mistakes for sure lately but they are the least likely to screw you on a solution. American truck makers can give 2 shits about the customer

@@jameslake7116Ford is using wet oil belts. GM and Ford V8s use displacement on demand which have a lot of issues. Ford and GM transmissions are kind of a disaster. The RAM and Titan are being discontinued. The Tundra is the only game in town, just don’t buy a 22 or 23. The Tundra has a great transmission, doesn’t have displacement on demand, uses port and direct injection, is powerful, and gets good mpg for the giant truck it is. The build quality and reliability of the Tundra is improving pretty quickly.

I honestly wouldn’t but anything post covid. Seems like every qc metric through out the industry is down big time.
