Cameron Hill What’s your plan for the clutch replacement when the time comes? It’s doable on jack stands, but it’s no overnight job. I think it’s like 1500-2000$ to have it done professionally. I don’t know if a Honda dealership would want to touch an aftermarket clutch assembly, but if they did they’d be on the high end. Probably give you a loaner Accord for a couple days for free though.

Man the way you hold the wheel on top, you are at a great disadvantage (I know it looks cool). You can only use your larger chest and shoulder muscles. You won't be able use your arm and forearm muscles which will give you that fine steering control. If you are only using one hand hold the 9th position of the wheel. You are doing really great for a noob. Keep working on your heel toe. Would love to see some foot cam action later on.

Mix in a small amount of e85 to keep knock control down... look into it works. Car will adjust for a small amount. Add 1 gallon for a full tank, wont hurt anything.

What fuel are you running? I run 94 here in Canada and have never seen numbers higher than .52 on my K Con. with my Phearable tune. Good runs though!

Try boostane. Knock will be way better especially in those hotter Temps. Doesnt foul plugs like other octane boosters. I was shocked how it worked on my accord sport with aggressive tuning

My frs is boosted making something like 270-280whp. I walked a civic type r about a bus length consistently. He had an exhuast for sure but idk what else he was packing if anything else. I even gave him the jump but my car just continued to roll on him. I had a passanger and he was by himself. A boosted 86 would not be fair in this race. I will admit I was scared that my engine was going to blow the whole time racing lol (these fa20 engines are weak, not to mention the transmissions)

I mean it might have held up better, as for the ecutek tune there's been rough studies that actually showed an oft with stock front pipe, catless headers and catback made the most power on the dyno. Which is kinda bs because dyno is such a hard thing to rely on. So many variables.

Lmao yeah turbo kit for an 86 is gonna run you $4k and that's just the kit to have turbo put on...reason I sold my 2014 FRS after 4 months of owning it. I'm not about to put no $10k into car just to make it "decently" fast and actually reliable. Those boxer engines are not reliable and most people should know that by now and cannot hold much power stock. But it will always be one of the coolest and best handling cars I will probably ever own
