The fastest pass was made in auto mode for the hellcat and you saw what happened this is because people shift them with the paddles when the left paddle will get you to the proper gear then let the trans do the work put suspension in street and leave a little traction on so you can mat it and have the computer so the work. The second run was short shifted manual at 4K probably because of spin which is why a tire is a must for this car even stock. A tire and the bmw would lose all day.

Classic battle. Waiting for all the comments about traction. Either way, with just a GTS tune, that's impressive. DPs and Stage 2 and you know how this goes. Bye bye kitty. Pulley on the Hell Cat, and some real tires and it lights out...until the F80 throws some E in there and then you got a problem. From a M4 owner, this is a never ending battle. Me and my Hellcat bro go back and forth a few times on my channel and it's just how you want to make your power. Brute force or finesse. Also note that this is a Dodge 707 at the crank vs a BMW 480 at the wheels which is still probably a low ball. Good races.

It's kinda funny WHY they down-rate HP... 1) Insurance is cheaper, if the mfr claims the car isn't so powerful. 2) The mfr avoids lawsuits from customers unhappy when their car falls short of the HP/TQ ratings. Give low numbers, and let them be pleasantly surprised when it surpasses them in testing 🙂

Did you miss the “stock for stock” part? The pinned comment literally says he took his slicks off and turned it down from 910hp to 710hp. Put that m3 on 315s give it 200hp and re-run if you want another fair race. Not to mention the bmw weighs 3800lbs at 490 hp and the challenger is 4400 at 710hp giving the challenger over 25% more hp per lb and it still lost🤦‍♂️

The Hellcat needs a driver mod. 1: Turn traction fully off. It kicks in and kills his performance watch the vid. Managing tire and wheel spin is less of a detriment. 2: Why is he short shifting 3: Let’s see a stock M3 try. I have owned both the F80 M3 stock and tuned and have owned the Hellcat. The driver is doing a disservice to that muscle car.

sooo....in my opinion that 2nd roll race was not a fair race. The M3 gearbox was in regular Drive and in top gear, and needed to downshift. The hellcat was already in the proper gear and did not need to downshift, hence the massive gap between the two cars. All the other races were fair and it's clear the Hellcat is the faster car once it has traction.
