Now that we are on lock down I may need to learn sooner than I expected! I will admit that I “panic bought” a kit that comes with three sizes of tools because I didn’t know what was going to happen with deliveries. My retightening is next week and I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. So I may have to just do it myself! My hair is 3C and just seems kind of delicate. The number of strands per loc makes me nervous about letting them get too loose. My loctician said I don’t need to worry but each loc seems to have maybe 20 strands...maybe they need to be larger. I digress 🙂 thank you for this video! 💖

Girl, I got braces when I was 11 and had them taken off at 13. As soon as I move back to the U.S., I’m getting them again. I’m telling you NOT wearing those retainers is a horrible move. My spacey smile has returned, and I don’t like it. Call it vanity, but this time around, I’m wearing that retainer!!!

my consultant told me every 4 weeks which i really think is too soon to get my hair retightened if she had said 8 weeks i would have still been a little worried. i really think that i may go every 8 to 10 weeks and my lock birthday was february 29th. Its a plastic yarn needle or something. You can't miss it. Usually 2 or 3 come in a pack in the arts and craft section.

Hello, how important is the rotation? Because sometimes when I do my rotation I stop and then forget which way i went last. So i may have gone the same way twice or skipped a portion of the 4 point. Also, some locs are 4 points, some are 3 points and some are 2 points, is terrible with all the variety?

Youre making me laugh! I feel you. I’ve messed up some. Who the HECK can keep up! LOL! The overwhelming verdict with the ladies who chatted about this on the live was that it’s not that big a deal. I would try to maintain consistency with the number of points though. If you are a 4, make every effort to do 4 points. As for beginning and ending, I don’t even know how a loctician can keep up with that with hair in different places growing at different paces,

I used that once it’s called a latch hook I used it on a latch hook kit.
