Thank you very much for this! I've spent many hours over 4 days trying to figure out why my stitches wouldn't add up and finally realized that it was due to the clean edge portion that you've displayed. Now my stitching always adds up. I really appreciate that you used really thick threads in the walkthrough as well so I could clearly see where I went wrong.

This is a fantastic cotton tubular yarn. It's not t-shirt yarn, it's much thinner and stretchier. It's called Cotton Tube by ICE Yarns. ☺️

The full stitch and gobelin stitch are kind of two different stitches. This is the gobelin stitch. While the full stitch doesn't do the second row variation, it just repeats the first one, going into the first stitch. I've only discovered this by trying to find instructions on each stitch. I hope my description made sense.

If you repeated the first row again and again, the piece would look slanted. Have you tried? :)
