I'd try instead of dumping the clutch do the old 3 pedal method, its hard to get down initially cause it calls for your right foot to operate gas and brake, but it'd probably grant you a few more opportunities for future burnouts. Nice truck btw, I've got a 72 F100 390/3 speed

Hey do you know what I could add to a ford 300 to gain hp because my dad has a 1979 ford f100 and I heard getting an intake and ignition and exhaust upgrade you could gain 50hp or 100

If it's a nice truck, I HIGHLY recommend you just leave it stock and get something else to play with

Exhaust and intake can’t hurt. The biggest restriction you’ll find is the head, get a camshaft to help it breathe, best bang for buck
