The schematic in the service manual shows the direct connection from the the filament transformer going to FA on the magnetron and then the connection from the HV diode going to F on the magnetron. Just trying to get some clarification. Thanks for making this video.

If the wiring diagram shows it that way, that is how it should be, it does make a difference on how that are connected.

Hey thanks for the comment, the magnetrons have a relay each side, also to cook the food there are 2 more heaters, an upper and lower heater, they work together, magnetrons use the waveguides and basically work like a microwave oven while the other heaters are used like a convection oven, so with both thee inside and outside is being cooked together, the oven temp is 500 degrees, hope that answered your question, thanks for watching.

Hi, thanks for all info! Question: What is the possibility that the F3 error is caused by the sensor that is mounted on the main board and reads the amperage carried by the red wire that goes through the hole in it? How can I check it if is defective? Greetings from Tijuana, MEX.

If the current sensor is reading wrong then board will have to be replaced, yo verify by taking the amp draw of the mags, each mag should pull about 8 amps, thanks for the comment

I didn’t see how you bleed out the capacitors. Was that the microfarad check you performed?

Yes, it was, I bleed it off by touching across the common and the terminal.

Nice video I have one of these ovens at my subway and got this same error Somehow it still works but only lets us run the cook cycle for like 10 seconds then stops way before the cook cycle would normally be done i am just an worker at my subway im not the store manager or anything and store manager can't be bothered to get it fixed anymore I also don't actually do any subs etc for people im mostly their cleaning person Actually it was an non touchscreen one if these like maybe its not the encore 2

Hey Auzzuegamer, thanks for the comment, the manager definitely has a problem with the magnatrons, that unit might blown the magnatron fuse, or may have a bad magnatron, he really should have it looked at, both are easy fixes, thanks again for the comment.

Make sure the K2 relay is good, and verify that the voltage suppling the oven is not dropping if all that is good then the oven may have transformer issues.
