Finally put the cab back down on my 6.0 Powerstroke the other day after heads, cam, valve springs, injectors, turbo and studs only for the trans to shit its actual guts out on the test drive. Never got above 1500 rpm, never had a trans issue before. Sometimes life just fucks you like that 😪

Two things: 1) Those ACES efi systems seem to good to be true when it comes to pricing. It's half of what a terminator X is and those aren't known for the greatest build quality. 2) those Amazon harnesses are amazing. 5 mintues with a meter to ring everything out for verification and youre golden. I've got 4 vehicles running on them currently. Thanks for posting brotha.

I just had the same issue with my Trans Am after fighting it replacing every sensor, harnesses, ECU’s, coils etc., It ended up being the spark plugs, which were brand new and only had 10 minutes of runtime.

I haven’t finished the vid yet. However, I will say….. check every single wire in that cheap harness. I chased my tail for two months…. They played musical chairs with the 5v reference wires….. all of the major sensors were in the wrong spots. Weirdest part in that it would run about like yours and then sky rocket rpm wise. Check the harness sir. It’s worth it

You should push it outside. Give it a good hand wash and sweet talk it alittle bit about how a pontiac is related to a chevy and how jesus drove a chevy. Put some nice tire shine on it. Make it feel good and that will prolly fix all the issues. Get connected spiritually but make sure you keep a sledge hammer close.

1st off anyone that hears that engine knows exactly what it is😊 (rod) 😂because that lil idle & cranking was enough. If a’guy puts a tune on an ecu then changes the tune or reflashes another tune & has issues, can you not reapply the old tune to see if it works, if it don’t then I’d say ecu issue!! But that rod be banggin my’guy!!

It absolutely could be a rod. I'm not ruling that out at all lol just wishful thinking. The RX7 made a very similar noise that turned out to be a collapsed oil filter and it was some lifters collapsed. Once it ran with proper oil pressure it went away so I'm using all 3 of my genie wishes to wish thats what this is lol 🫣 and I did flash the old tune in, didn't change anything

ACES has failed several KZbinrs. Casey Custom cars tried twice after sending unit back and replaced one failed too. Imagine after heat cycles and 1yr ... Won't WORK EITHER
