Turbo LS SC400 gets a welded diff! (Project SC - Episode 12)

No intro (or outro) we just dive right in this time. With the engine and trans in, I spend some time going over some of the issues before pulling out the differental to weld it up.

that driftmotion adapter looks nice. mine just looks like a puck of aluminum. I hope you were very thorough in cleaning the slag out of that diff after welding it.

The diff adapter and the bushings are both very nice. The next video should have more detail on those parts. I almost put it in this one, but wanted to keep it short(ish) with all the talking. I did clean out the diff very well after I was done, just no video because its boring.

my diff has been welded two years by my little titanium flux welder with no plate, it will hold lol don't worry.

I'm sure it'll hold. I just wish I had the money to do a 9" 😁

I still have it, I'll show it in a video. It doesn't look like much, just a bigger smooth hole where the plug goes. No threads left at all.

is your trans mount custom or where did you get it? I'm drooping a T350 behind the LS and can seem to find a mount

The mounts were made by Dan Perlenfein. He can make it for whatever trans you want!
