I always try to get Tubrosmart products when I can. I have the Turbosmart Supersonic BOV for my 2014 F150 Tremor and its cool AF. It sounds like a big rig letting off its air brakes 🤣 You can also scare people on the street if you "PPSHHHTTT!" right next ot them 🤣

Any twin scrolls and compressor maps?

Divided housings will be available next year and compressor maps will be available for every turbo size. Currently the 5862, 6262, and 6466 compressor maps are on our website on each respective product page. We are working on the larger ones currently. Just a long and very expensive process to complete.

Because a supercharger spins always x times your engine RPM, so you can´t overspin it (yes, unless you moneyshift) A turbocharger will overspin without a hot side wastegate, so this is purely for money doesn´t matter situations or you have to run a hot side wastegate on top to keep the turbo rpm in check.

@@axelhorneff5077 diesels have been running without wastegates for decades. I feel there can be adjustments made to the rear housing or turbine trim to control wheel speed on the turbo. Turbo tech has come a long way. I look forward to seeing the real world results from this.

@@TheCuttz1984 true, but most Diesels aren´t tuned to make max power just before over spinning the turbine, because going to a bigger Turbo would ruin the response ;)

@@axelhorneff5077 The BoostGate50 is not a cash grab if that's what you're getting at. It is actually a solution to some of our racers that have been using our heavier StraightGate50 on their charge pipe. Yes, there is the risk of over-spooling a turbo when the turbo is sized improperly. However, in most situations, these cars are letting their turbos live well below or right on the edge of their shaft speed limitations. You are still controlling the condensed air which is going to effect the exhaust pressure coming out your cylinder head ultimately slowing down the turbo(s). Is it a proven setup? Yes, you can see what Mark Micke and Todd Moyer are doing with their cars if you're curious to see. With that being said, this type of control is not for the faint of heart and only applies to a small percentage of racecars.

@@TurbosmartHQ I wrote "money doesn´t matter situation", or: "I don´t care if the turbo blows up because it revs to high constantly" ;) So, if you´re budget conscious and want your turbo to survive a little longer, it´s probably better to go with a hot side wastegate.

Question.... Does anyone know if the boostgate can be usedn in lieu of a notmal wastegate? Also i wish they showed it installed in a piping system.

For a centri supercharger, since it cannot use a normal wastegate. A normal wastegate on a turbo can also relieve backpressure from the exhaust by rerouting the exhaust gasses.

@@sepg5084 I do understand this could be used for a Supercharger, but when they presented this, they were speaking in the sense of what it could do for a Turbo. The idea of using a boostgate instead of a waste gate sounds awesome, because you can reduce the weight and heat that's building up in the engine bay.
