It bears repeating, but I'm impressed by the speed of the medical team rushing in to give Clarke his proper care inside and outside the ring after that devastating KO. Good showing for Saudi as the biggest boxing stage that they're prepared for everything.

Honestly why tf did Eddie Hearn let this monster leave Matchroom like Frank has Fury, Dubois, Parker, Zhang and Wardley who are all now arguably top 10 heavyweight fighters
@AhijahАй бұрын
I think it was the Dillian fallout but also he didn’t have any heavyweights for wardley to fight

the high guard defense is so underrated, if only he had both hands up instead of trying to parry the punch. he almost turned into a vegetable in the ring💀
@kmonodalАй бұрын
if you actually know boxing in the highest level you will see what happening he peel his hand with his jab to create space for his overhand
@billyettouati1124Ай бұрын
I see what you mean having the muscle memory to tuck yourself into your guard with that lead hand by your head instead of sticking it out to avoid the shot would have protected him better. It gave Fabio an open lane to land two overhands in succession. At that range he was just too close to avoid it that way.
@SabattaАй бұрын
Er, if you watch you'll actually see Clarke had a high guard up! The only time it went down sigficantly was on the very last punch (2.21), by which time he was already out of it. The first punch of the combinaiton, the one that rocked him - came around his guard (2.03)! The only other time he dropped his guard in that exchange, is when he threw a left counter jab (2.09)while he was on the ropes.

Once again. Thanks you Turki! You’re the man! Boxing is just on another level lately with all the fights you have made possible.. I thought the UFC was going to leaving boxing behind for a while, but Turki has made sure that’s not the case.
