The reason why it sounds like Chinese is it is an east asian origin language. It is related and similar to japanese and korean lamguages. Japanese sounds like chinese too just as sounding so yeah. The spelling is like it

I watched an italian serie for a few episode in netflix too, I don't remember it's name but but it was about high school students and I surprised it was more like turkish high school series than american ones. The youth culture and country's culture came closer to me. Maybe that because of mediterranean climate and city style. I also realised that italian neighbourhoods just like Istanbul's neighbourhoods. I always thought rome is just about sculptures and museums.

she did because first she was saying "bu aralar bunları izliyorum" (izlemek-watching), but she decided to change the verb in the middle of sentence as "bu aralar bunları...bakıyorum" (bakmak-looking at). Thats why. "Bunları izlemek" , "Bunlara bakmak" --->>>> are true. "Bunları bakmak" is wrong so you're right.

Di you know the turkic language is not related to any Indoeuropean or Arab family language ?.. but in fact turkic (might be) related to eastern asian language .
