It’s always nice to have everything under cover. I’m convinced it adds years to the life of the equipment. Since adding concrete to my pole barn, I’ve been getting harbor freight furniture dollies to move the box blade, rake, etc around on the concrete. Life changer.

I’ve also found, for winter, to store my brush cutters upright. I use a few 4x4s to prop them up. Yes, I know you can leak gear oil out of the vent cap, but I like the extra space and being able to prevent rodents from nesting under there and also quick access to maintenance the underside of the mowers.

Great organization, Brock. If it would fit in the budget, I highly recommend throwing some concrete down, then adding caster wheels to the bottom of pallets. Makes switching implements so much easier and also makes organization a bit easier. Just a thought

I built a lean to on my barn. Not very big 12x24. I built shelves after I watched you build yours. People smile when they see how I pack it away for winter. Keep it good for resale down the road I say. When I pressure wash my deck I grease and undercoat and then hook up and run for a minute to make sure no water in the bearings. I also take the spring off to take tension off the belt for the long winter months. 👍

It goes to the quick hitch , it's for when a implement isn't quick hitch compatibility . I had one and I didn't know what it was and cut it up for the steel to weld to an implement and now I wish I didn't lol

Yeah I used one as the top link when I built my ballast box. I welded it to the draw-bar via some rebar. Works great except my quick hitch hook at the top is too tall, and I end up having to remove the pin, hook up, and put the pin back.

The "U" shaped, or tuning fork looking piece, looks like it would be the top link attachment point for a brush hog. Gives that extra bit of pivot when going through bumps.

Hey Brock. The part on the 1st pallet, you had thought it might be part of a top link, looks like a adapter for a top link to make a implement quick hitch compatible. Nice storage area. Merry Christmas everyone.

Its strangely satisfying watching you get all organized. That is on my to do list is either build or buy big racking for the implements to put all in one location like you have here. I guess too if we can call you out on stuff, I myself would have just emptied out that building first, raked up all the garbage and leveled the gravel nicer. The Sheldon in me finds the litter and uneven spots annoying. :)

Hello Brock. At the 4:30 point, you found 2 bushings, a pin and a "U" shaped metal piece, with a bottom extension. You didn't know what the last piece was for. Does the pin fit through the metal bracket? If so, could this set be used to make something, such as a ballast box, to fit the 3 point hitch? Jim

Brock great job, do you clean and grease all attachments every time when you finish using them ? I started cleaning and greasing each attachment AFTER using them so when it's time use them there ready to work. Some times you find out you don't have the grease or fluids when you need them. Looking good 👍👍 up.

Hey Brock! Excellent organization. I bolted the JDQA plates I got from Artillian onto my mower deck since JD doesn't make the Load n Go for the 60 in mower deck on a 2032R. Worked like a champ. What is the toolbox you have on the left side of your loader? I had a small toolbox attached to my ROPS but when I installed the Curtis cab the toolbox doesn't fit any longer. Also like the way you hung the cab doors. Did you have to fabricate the hinge points on the wall? Great video as usual.
@RockhillfarmYT
@RockhillfarmYT Жыл бұрын
Good idea with the load and go. I considered that, but I didn’t know if it would interfere with anything depending on placement. The tool box is from ITC quick attach. You mount brackets on your load of frame and then you can put different things onto the brackets. A New Way to Mount Tools on Your Tractor - ITC Quick Attach kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpnXcmCcpL1_idk I asked Curtis for some pins so that I could mount my doors on the wall. We welded the same pins that are on the cab onto square plates, and then bolted those to the wall. They provided them for me and I made a video. I recommended to him that they sell it as an add-on option but I don’t think they ever did.

If and when you get a concrete floor......put the three point attachments on heavy duty skids with castors. This get more important as the year pile on you. 😉 Makes moving things around a breeze, also putting them on the tractor eazy pezy. Just starting, working thru ideas and improvements is usually the hardest part. 🤠 You have started the rest just never seems to end. 👍

As one person said the U shaped item is for bush hog top link on the quick hitch, but it can also be used to make "some" non-quick hitch 3PH items work with a quick hitch. I use one to make my 3PH generator work with the quick hitch, just leave that U part on the generator.

Hey Brock, looks like you have a good plan for your tool organization. I have a recommendation if your interested, I would wait eaither do as you said and hang the harrow on the wall or make a long deep shelf in the place where it is now so that the bush hog could go under it at ground level. I have learned the hard way to never put pallet forks all the way in almost touching a metal wall or one day you will find you made holes through the back wall, I would store them under your bush hog just like when you moved it into place in this video. Just a thought, take it with a grain of salt.
