You might want to put up some carbon monoxide detectors or relocate that water heater just to be on the safe side, you said No windows and the gaps that use to be there were probably minimal but all that helps to vent out any gases.

Question! What are your plans for heat and air? Also did you just leave the garage door up on the outside?
@AndreaMartinezMUA4 жыл бұрын
We have the fans for air, but mainly the house ac covers here. We always keep our door open so we don’t need anything extra. And yes the garage door is on the outside!

How did you remove the garage door parts but keep the garage door in place? Did you need to do anything additional to keep the garage door in place or does it just stay in place even with the rails and chain removed? I'm looking to do exactly this
@arlenharcrow23833 жыл бұрын
I really need an answer to that because I’m outside looking at my garage door and I don’t understand how you got it to stay in place after you took all the parts off 😂
@arlenharcrow23833 жыл бұрын
@Danny Boy I don’t think you understand the question lol. I’m leaving the garage door, but I can’t leave all the parts on the ceiling, as you saw in the video. You won’t be able to frame the wall with all the rails, chain, and motor on the ceiling. My question is how did she remove that stuff without the garage door falling?

Amazing transformation! Your dad and husband did a great job! Any concerns about the water heater being in the same room? The gas burners on the heater give toxic fumes when warming up the water. Also in case of gas leak, you have a combustible in your room. You may want to change that out to a tankless electric water heater.
